A small increase after hitting the £100k is good but there's at least another round or two left in the game

Lee asks Craig again, who says he'd be devastated if Lee went on and hit the £250k, so it's up to Lee really. Michael says he thinks the banker is showing respect for Lee. Lee asks his girlfriend who is unsure. The banker phones back and says if Lee goes on and has an all-blue round, the offer would be about £26,000, and he talks about Mary's game yesterday.

Lee says

NO DEAL

I wonder what the chances of that are... Obviously the chances of picking a red at the start is 1 in 2, and thus doing that 15 games in a row is 1 in 32,768, but what about taking one out at the end as well?

It's about 1 in 2,232,232,135, or 30,517,578,125/68,122,318,582,951,682,301 if you want an exact fraction.

Mind you, the probability of such an event happening once in over 1300 games is a lot larger.

Is £14,500 going to be offered to every player who is not married but is in a long-term relationship?

£26,000 as a reward for an all-blue isn't great here, and I would not have thought any less of Lee if he had taken that 11-box offer.

We're back

Last box before the Banker

Lee talks about his system and how he started with box 1, and the numbers of the following boxes depended on whether he revealed a red or a blue. Noel asks if alcohol was involved in the invention of the system!

20 - Natalie - £10

Banker time

Lee asks Cookie, who says he's torn by that offer. He asks his girlfriend, who says there are only 2 above the offer and it's a nice offer.

Lee says

DEAL

Hmm, insufficient increase for my liking. If I was still in play I'd feel I had no choice but to play on here, as taking this would only make me feel I should've gone at 11-box...

Round 6 (proveout)

Lee says he'd have dealt there. The banker phones back and says that was very honest of Lee, and he's thinking of testing how convinced Lee is that he has a red on the table. He says that if Lee has an all-blue round now, he'll guarantee the Banker's Gamble will be offered.

13 - Clive - £250

Noel says this is fascinating as we don't know what we want to see in these boxes!!

4 - newbie Debs - £50

6 - Josephine - £75,000

Banker time with £5 and £100 remaining
