We're back
Last box before the Banker

Noel asks Sonia about why she got into fundraising, and Sonia explains after she graduated she couldn't find a job and ended up in a call center, but then found the fundraising job and loves it.

Banker time

First decision of the game...the £15,000 backup to the two big amounts make it a gambling decision...one I might probably take

Definitely into the realms of having a decision to make now. Just over half the mean on what may or may not be considered a two-box game at eight-box. I imagine Simon thinks it is and is gone accordingly; I think there's enough room to chase a potentially generous five- or two-box offer here, though I wouldn't want to be committed into chasing this to the end.

He's quite nice isn't he says Sonia, and her parents would be at home saying take it, take it. She goes to Tom who thinks there is another round in that board. Ray tells her she also has to think that the £11,000 is real and she could end up chasing that amount if she plays on. Noel tells her this is the lonely part of the game now as only she can decide what to do.

Sonia says

NO DEAL

Either decision would be justified...but because she's gone for it we want it to...oh!!! £100,000 gone STRAIGHT away! :|

£1,000 is fine as long as this last one is one of the small two...indeed it is, but albeit the wrong one! Not a good round in summary...

Noel asks Andy if Sonia should leave the game now, and he says No. He then asks Ray who also says she should play on now. Sonia's friend thinks she should deal.

Sonia says

NO DEAL

Read: chasing losses, as well documented in studies of other versions of this show (not so much in studies of this one, if memory serves), though moreso in male contestants.

This female contestant is chasing losses. So would the male writing this post.

£13,000 isn't enough for me with £750 there...so for a change I think I'd be opening my box!
