Banker's offer would've been:

£500

Very good point, KP!

The Banker loves his psychological battles...the most dangerous time to gamble!

You cannot, cannot argue with that. Good result!

The premise of guessing the offer correctly to get an increase certainly made an otherwise average game much more interesting. Psychological battles often make good viewing, and although she didn't get any offer increases, she managed to outsmart the banker at the last turn. I think I'd have ended up with £250 in that game...

Blimey, what a confusing game! It took me a while to realise how much exactly she'd dealt for!

I had a horrible feeling she was making a rod for her own back though, similar to the woman who would get a SWAP-only if she went above the banker's limit (was that Janie?) - I'd love that twist to be used on Huddy BTW! Fortunately at least she didn't think she was forced to go on at 5-box due to the fact she''d missed out on getting the extra £4,000 on the offer!

Very interesting psychological battle though the game was otherwise fairly routine, Kirsti did well to get out with a decent amount even if it wasn't the peak of the game.

Fun game and a technical draw which befits the twist to the game today.

Sorry, but personally I found that game quite annoying today and unnecessarily confusing, as she persisted with her wrong offer guessing to the point of despair, and it just kept giving the banker the excuse to make worse offers than normal, I mean the tactic just did not work, and she was just playing into his mind games!

She'd have been better off just saying what she'd want for the board, and if it was lower, you could just no deal (and maybe high-ball the guesses early on to emphasise you won't be bought cheaply) - she was just making it far too complicated for my liking, and I found her quite irritating generally.

She seemed to act as if she was going to get it right every time, which was a bit unlikely, and what was the point in guessing an offer that you won't take 2k/3k/4k+/whatever more on anyway, if anything you're showing weakness. Anyway, immensely frustrating to watch for me, hopefully better tomorrow...

Well it was confusing as it seemed to rob the offers of its usual tension...as the tension shifted to the guesses instead...still, after near enough ten minutes over the 5-box offer it became crystal clear she was going to take it...

An interesting twist but one that I felt took over the gameplay a bit too much.

Still, can't argue with her decision at all.
