£16,500 really is roughly the average of what people take home just as Debs' hubby said. Wow.

She's got the gambling spin on 'this is the only time I'll play this game' though so she plays on. Arguable either way but I think the stability would just about lure me on.

And this should be my get-out, whether it's hers or not I don't know...

Noel says that's a brilliant 5-box and the banker is very nervous now.

Banker's offer:

£26,000

Debs talks about what her board's like at the moment and the others tell her that it's real money. Huddy says even if she takes out just 1 big value, she'll be offered less than £26k.

Debs says DEAL

Ooh, now I'm not so sure.

But seeing as £26,000 would have been borderline on yesterday's board with £75k and £250k, and this has £75k and £100k only with two oranges replacing two blues, I'd be a bit silly to turn this down.

Good call from Debs, but watch out for the proveout lie to taunt Huddy if she leaves a big red/orange finish (40% chance).

Round 6 (proveout)

Noel wonders if Debs should've listened to her gambling voice.

12 - Caroline - £100,000

22 - Gaz - 50p

"NO, ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh" says Noel

21 - Huddy - £1,000

Banker time with £5,000 and £75,000 remaining

The banker asks if Debs is a gambler and there are lots of "OOOOOH"s from the audience! She says there's still £5k up there. He says Debs scares him too much to offer the gamble!

Banker's offer would've been:

£34,000

Noel asks if the gamble had been offered, would Debs have taken it, and she says no it's too much money to risk.

The banker phones back and says in that case................

Banker's offer:

BANKER'S GAMBLE

Box 15 with Ruth contains the £5,000

Debs says she's chuffed with that and didn't want to risk it.

Oh, fake proveout lie to set up the Gamble!

I'd have taken that on, just. And then swapped...

Wasn't it Huddy that said that, not Debs' husband?

That would have been an amazing game if she'd taken the banker's gamble (not like I can talk; I'd have dealt at 8-box!) Still, it's been a solid start to the week in terms of winnings so far: 56k in the first two shows. Let's see if we can keep it up...

It was Huddy (as I put in the commentary). I wonder if it was mis-read as "Hubby". :eyes:
