Ridiculous. He played the game. 20k as a second offer was a great offer but with the board the way it was, he was more than entitled to play on. Will you call the first 250k winner greedy too?

Very entertaining game, and not too bad a result in the end.

That was a good game, and £5,000 isn't bad at all. Noel's shirt though

Rubbish, the only offer I might have taken there was the £20k, and at that stage he still had a great board and it was really early.

When I saw it was going to be Mark I was expecting another dull game like Rich's, but I actually really liked him! Just a shame it didn't work out too well for him, but like I said, I don't think he made any bad decisions, and £5k isn't a disaster. (And everyone who's stood in his position since Michael in January has gone all the way to the end! Bizarre.)

Agreed. It was a great game, played by a great player. From the sounds of it, Mark was not as quiet on the wings as his shows may have indicated - maybe more ends up on the cutting room floor than we think.

Definitely. My mate spoke to Mark after Rich's game, and he told us he was probably going to go all the way - didnt break that promise.

I do wonder how much ends on the cutting room floor. Endemol have the power to paint people in whatever way they like. Mark being the prime example for me, as having seen him on the shows, he was quite talkative on the wings, yet on telly they never showed any of it.

I did think Mark was a great player.
But Noel also said something like Mark hadn't spoken a word in the wings, didn't he? :?

Good game today for Mark. Just a pity he didn't follow through with his plan and swap. Laughed at his g/f is high maintenance so she'll probably get it all, comment.

Better things next week I hope. Want to see Buzz on soon...

Who said anything about the second offer? :? 18k was dismissed all to easy, and the way things have gone latly, I knew one of the big ones would have gone.
But also with my situation I would have gone at 18. :P

I would've gone at 18, definitely.

But hey, this thread isn't about me, it's about Mark! Well done Mark, played the game well even if he was a bit unlucky at the end, don't blame him for not going at the second offer with so many big numbers still left there.

Enjoy the money, Mark!
