Well, a smart Swap at the end as well :)

Does "No Decision" count?

Well he's emulated another Gary (from Feb 06) by swapping £10,000 for £15,000!

At least all Santa v Scrooges don't have to be 17-box opening rounds as the 8-box offer showed. I'd have been gone there and laughed my head off in the proveout. Especially when you think Franny got offered only 4 grand more for a board which was one of the strongest I'd seen at 8-box, whereas gaz's had several big holes on the right hand side!

Also shame about changing his mind from the newbie to the box that contained the £250k, but he'd probably ended up picking it next box anyway!

It seems there are no shortage of brave players at the moment, but they either seem to be being totally punished like Pommy and others, or getting middle-reds which they could have dealt for earlier like today or most of the men who have played in S v S.

Someone's gotta bring more than £10k to the table soon, the last one who did was Monique unless I'm very much mistaken! (£15k has been swapped for twice and of course Isreal hypo-swapped for £75k!)

Is it just me who finds Wakeyists bringing middle reds to the table (like this Gaz, Fin from way back when, and there was a recent-ish £10k winner from a fifth-round collapse - an old man that Noel went nuts praising for his Wakeyism after the game) absolutely hilarious? They come for the big money, probably half-anticipate a blue win (or they should anyway with that attitude!!) and end up with the same sort of money that they might sneer at other people Dealing. :)

Also, why do the gamblers always seem to play at the end of the year?!?

Not much you can say other than that which James hasn't added before - that was a tremendous opportunity to really show up the Christmas twist once and for all there, but I suspect if I were playing I'd have got a joke offer at eight-box and ended up getting a swappy £15k myself!

Another player who comes to the show ignoring the first 2 words of the show's title. £21k was a generous offer and one I may yell have taken. £12.5k at 5 box was generous too and even with the 2 low 5-figure amounts as back up, the offer was so close to the mean, that there didn't seem to be enough reward to risk it.

I have to agree with those who say that the £21k 8-box offer was well worth considering.

Despite that - and despite Gaz's play till the end mentality- i did find that quite an entertaining game. Very funny in places and quite tense.

While not a huge win, it is very satisfying to see a finish with two similar reds. Tempting to finish to the end, and not a massive loss if the lower value is in the box. Although some seem to disregard this and take the offer (cough Lance)
