Round 6 (proveout) - part 1

Noel says it took Franny a long time to decide, so that was the right decision for him, and he could still get a banker spanking.

*facepalm* No Noel, it wouldn't have been a banker spanking, even if he had taken out £50,000 straight away, because he'd been offered £25,000 beforehand.

£15,000 was an easy deal for me, being so close to the mean.

Franny has £10,000 in his box 17

Box 22 with H contains the £500

The game is not over yet... the banker phones.

3.9% actually. (You forgot to include the possibility that all five of them are there.)

Noel passes on the banker's message. He says Franny now has the opportunity to take part in a banker's party game. He could double his winnings. A chimney appears on set with a bucket full of snowballs!

Banker's offer:

BANKER'S CHRISTMAS GAMBLE

If Franny says NO DEAL, he keeps £15,000. If he says DEAL, Franny will throw 3 snowballs at the chimney. If he gets one in the chimney, then his winnings double to £30,000. If he misses all 3, then the winnings halve to £7,500.

Double or half as an end game, have I swapped over to Five all of sudden or has Phillip Schofield taken over DOND?

Round 6 (proveout) - part 4 - Banker's Christmas Gamble

We now get to find out what would've happened.

Franny throws the first snowball, and he gets it in! :(

Franny's winnings would've doubled to £30,000, but he said NO DEAL to the Gamble, so his winnings remain at £15,000.

I'd have no dealt that Gamble and rolled those 4 balls down the walk of wealth then out of protest of a really stupid twist.

Sensible deal taken after a reasonable 8 box gamble taken for a normal player. I still think there is a chance Franny may have been influenced by the Santa/Scrooge twist though.
