The banker could be being nice and not wanting Freddie to win a blue. I think I'd deal here using my usual tactic of ignoring the fact the banker knows what's in the box.

That's what I was thinking, on both counts.

Believing the banker - a risky tactic, almost as risky as gambling when there's a 60% chance of a red/blue finish.

Hope it pays off though.

I loved Freddie's reaction when Noel opened his box - just munching on his carrot as if he wasn't bothered about anything.

Well done for Freddie for reading the banker brilliantly the second time. The only difference between dealing at 5 box for £15k and going all the way and swapping was the game being an OBW instead of a TPW but like yesterday, it's about as minimal and feelgood an OBW as you can get.

Just like yesterday, another entertaining game with a good amount of money won and although technically an OBW, he still did very well and got almost the maximum out of his game. At this rate tomorrow's contestant will win £20,000!

The only thing I didn't like was Noel's OTT reaction to having £250,000 twice in five games. It reminds me of when he labelled Joey a Black Widow three years ago, even though she had more blues than reds.

That's the second time in a few days that there's been an older player who's been very naturally entertaining; the other being Helen on Friday, who also had 50p in her box (unfortunately, unlike Freddie, she won it).

Freddie provided a great show and he interacted with Noel very well. And of course it was sweetened by the £15,000 win at the end. Incidentally that's 2 days in a row that someone's turned down an offer at 5-box or later, only to win the same amount from the box!

Well done Freddie!! I hope he enjoys the money, the trip to Ascot.... and the 8-foot 'trampoleon' he won yesterday.

A pitch invasion from the contestants after a £15,000 win! Used to only be reserved for the £100k+ box wins. Anyone know the lowest amount that's happened for?

Pretty good episode, the Banker annoyed me a bit by constantly calling back all the time but I guess that's pretty regular now. I think as with the Christmas Stars, even if they win a blue they'll be guaranteed something at least...

Some hilarious moments in that game :xmas: Peggy winning the Ferrari experience (I can just imagine that  ), Freddie's response to why he wants a summer house.. "because I want one" :laughing , and the guy dressed as a snowman! Loved how he strutted on :laughing

Great game, and really pleased Freddie won a good amount from it. He was a really top chap 8)
