Finally good to see a substantial win and some no-deals for serious amounts go right! That was a good game as well in that one tough decision led to the next (provided it was no-deal of course). Shame about the hypo-swap but really a good game after some of the really bad luck suffered in the preceding 3 games.

Really liked Isreal too, he seemed a really cheerful bloke and he seemd prepared for all eventualities, though his system didn't half confuse me, I thought he was going to leave Box 7 as 8 had a blue in, then he opened it and it had the biggie in, only for me to realise that he was only avoiding the other one if they were next to each other on the wings (and Jardi was wearing blue so why didn't he pick him at the start?)

Given that he no-dealt at 5-box when he could still go home with peanuts, I was a bit surprised he didn't take the final gamble with £10,000 guaranteed, I thought the offer was going to be £40k, as Noel pretended it was £26k, and he'd go up again in another £7k increment, but the offer wasn't bad really when you consider similar amounts have been offered with the £100k there instead of the £75k.

I honestly have no idea what I would have done today!

Israel's system may have been overly convuluted but it paid off, and that's what matters.

All very enjoyable and entertaining with a more than satisfying result, though as others have pointed out the hypo swap, while totally plausible, did seem to come out of nowhere.

Noel might but if you ignore Noel's spin, the player always deals for the box on the table not a box that's still on the wings. Especially today when we know that Israel didn't want to gamble at 2 box, the swap is irrelevant.

A really feel-good win today for a genuinely nice guy who was clearly overcome with joy at winning great money.

A great way to set up this week

I think it could be; there are 9 Santa vs Scrooge specials, followed by the New Year's Eve special (which could potentially contain some sort of twist). Not sure if anything special will happen on New Year's Day (apart from a likely offer of £2,010!). Which means the next guaranteed regular episode probably won't be until Sun 3rd Jan 2010. (But is any episode ever guaranteed to be 'regular'?!)

I watched this game... well the last 10 mins of it and really enjoyed it... might watch a bit when it comes back after Xmas innit.
