The one day we're pleased the banker gives a respectable get-out of a bad game offer at 5-box, we didn't actually want him to!

A strange game, I hadn't really learnt that much about Nicolas during his time on the wings, so I felt myself going "who?" when his name was called. Unfortunately, he couldn't continue the momentum of good luck from yesterday, and actually got it at the wrong time after he'd dealt! I can't really quibble with the £3k deal, the only chance of significantly more was to leave what he did, so a bit unlucky really. Not sure what I'd have done, but my first instinct was to deal.


Well, let's look at the stats:

2008: £61,750.50

Some big wins in those weeks which we all remember (notably Chris's £76k), but that only makes the average about £15k a show, which is actually a little below the overall average, so nothing for the banker to be unduly worried about...

I think he meant it in that the Banker has not had one Trick in 2 years of the Trick or Treat specials, it's always been Treat.

Oh, and I expect certain ex-members of this forum loved it when Nicholas said he was a "crazy gambler"... only to deal for £3,000 with the £5k and £20k still on the board.
