At least this ensured nobody would play with the possibly-unprecedented burden of never seeing a £20k win!!

Eight-box was the big decision - the backup block was powerful but it was a big gap between it and the biggie. I think I would feel able to take that risk on now as a decently-paid young professional, in a way I previously wouldn't as a student. From there I'd have chased it to a swappy £50k, but no arguments whatsoever with the Deal.
