Noel asked where that No Deal came from. It came from you, you interfering so-and-so.

Fortunately she didn't get talked into becoming the second would-be pop star to turn down £20k to win a blue (Olly the first of course, but his was at 11-box).

Agreed. As I said before, if the banker is going to make daft predictions based on low-probability occurrences, Noel should point out the low probabilites of them happening.

Wow, that's the biggest win for almost 3 weeks!!

(And yet another blue at the table for the statisticians!!)

Interesting game with two hard decisions, it was undoubtedly brave to turn down the £20k in this day and age, so the banker was right to only slightly punish her at 5-box. And yet another 10% disaster hit from 5-box, though unlike yesterday the player hadn't gone too early! I just wished she hadn't been shrieking all the time but the psychic moment with Debs was quite funny, shame she didn't pick Marie at 6-box like Alex said, though she may have been tempted to have gone on with the £100k still there at 5-box in spite of an increased offer, and had an even worse crash!! :)

Well, that was an interesting finish to the game - two key decisions that were by no means clear cut. I think I'd have been tempted to no-deal £20k with the 15k and 20k there as back-ups, as if you kept one of those with the 100k, that would by no means be a disastrous 5-box, and the offer would still be in the region of 10k.

Roy's advice annoyed me a bit in that he was saying the 'sensible' option was to deal and read the board properly, and basically, 'don't be stupid, take the deal', but I don't think it was as clear cut as that; I think I would probably be saying that if it was top 2 and peanuts and the offer was £20k, but there were decent mid-red fallbacks there which made it a tricky decision, in my opinion. Either decision was justifiable.

Anyway, good decision to go at 5-box for a bit less, that was an offer I'd definitely have dealt; safety net gone and a 60% chance of a crash to (at the most) about 3k, which is just not worth risking.

Very funny that at the first offer of £8800 Noel said 'That's two fat ladies and a pair of spectacles' and the camera immediately shows shots of Carol and Elaine! Cruel!

Great game with a very satisfying result. I think the 8 box offfer was justifiable either way and I would have probably hedged my bets and walked at that point, but Kudos to sharna for risking it and impressing the banker enough to get a respectable offer despite the collateral damage.

A very tasty start to the week, herwe's to more of the same

Well done Sharna. Thought you were brave to no deal £20k :D

You could tell the banker had respect for you, as he didn't go down to much to £17500 at the next offer. :D

I was very surprised to see £20,000 offered on what looked like a very volatile board (10% chance at an £80K crash) - with the way games and offers had been going, I expected the Banker to go up a little from £11,700 but not by much. And for her to No Deal that was almost as surprising, given how she reacted to the number when she first heard it.

You have to think that had she kept the top two in play to 5-box, she'd have fought to the end. It's a good thing, then, that the £100K jumped out when it did, because that would have been yet another disastrous finish had she played on.

Really pleased it worked out for Sharna after a risky no deal. I thought the banker would go lower at 5 box so a good result in the end.

Well done Sharna! :)

What a great start to the week. Really enjoyed that game and loved Sharna.

£17,500 was a very good lifeline, and a sensible deal after only being docked £2,500. Would have done the same myself.

Let's hope we have some more like this.
