Round 4

3 - £50,000 Stephen

19 - £250,000 :( James

What a shame says Noel, but Shirley remains confident about the £100,000.... Noel calls a break as Shirley mixes up the amount of 0's and calls it £1,000,000 :P

As long as this is blue, this isn't a bad game at all...let's be honest, in reality she was never going to win the £250,000 so losing it just makes the remaining big money easier to go for

Is she likely to gamble for the £100k or £75k though.

Good comedy at the third offer, but it could well be the peak of the game... that £20,000 is now critical, never mind the two above it.

It's been a good day; Manchester City finally losing, England avoiding a 7-0 series whitewash in the cricket, and now hopefully a positive end to today's Deal!

Marketing!!! Xboxes being mentioned! :P

But what a nightmare round!

To hit 3 of the top 4 from 11 box is a 4 in 165 chance (2.42%)

What am I doing asks Shirley, and Noel says that was a horror round and one of the worst they have had, he then remembers Kyle took out the top 2 amounts on Friday. The Banker says that was the 2nd worst round of all time...

Banker's offer:

£3,071

Chapola says she has been watching box 1 and it has had some really low numbers in, so could be due for a high one.

Shirley says

NO DEAL

The gap between £100,000 and £250,000 is massive...I've always said if I ever played the game I'd simply use it as a scapegoat to higher offers...and that the £100,000 would probably be the peak I'd "safely" gamble for...

But now this is on a knife-edge...here's the 5-box board:

£1

£500
£750
£5,000
£75,000

Thank goodness for that last one being blue!

What a relief the red run was broken says Noel... The Banker says he is offering a lifeline for Shirley.

Banker's offer:

£5,071

That offer takes us back to Keran's game...she'd had six straight blues and was only offered £5,000 (yes I know the difference is minimal but still!), so this is actually a good offer!

Wouldn't begrudge a deal here...

One box at a time if she decides to go on! That instantly merits at least one more No Deal

Shirley asks her son to join her at the pound table. Shirley asks him what he thinks, and he asks how she feels as she is normally really lucky with numbers. The Banker calls back and says he laughed at that, and if Shirley says NO DEAL he will let Shirley play one box at a time in the next round...

Shirley says

NO DEAL

Here we go, an offer after each box can sometimes work out...
