The box returns, and Noel says Chivers should be more moist and we'll do something about that later in the week :P

The banker says he'll be honest because she gave him shallots, and says there's a decent amount in her box. Dot says she has a total of 15 children she'd like to give money to

Banker's offer:

£15,000

My strategy on this sort of game is to act as though he doesn't know, which is judged to be the optimal strategy for the Banker too based on at least one study of the Italian version.

Might as well go on. More chance she has a big red.

Anything other than the 10% nightmare chance will be a nice amount so I'm no dealing here.

Noel asks would the banker risk paying £15k for a box with £1 in it? Her family remind her to play her own game, but remind her that it'd be game over if she takes out the 3 biggest amounts.

The banker phones and says trust him, don't go on, take £15,000 :? That gets a lot of BOOs!

Dot says NO DEAL

Not a bad offer, but it's a strong board.

I'd continue here.

My strategy here would be to completely ignore whatever the banker says. I'd go one further and even tell Noel not to tell me what he says in the first place.

Interesting mind games indeed.

If this comes down to £1/£75k...

21 - Francis - £50,000

Dot's keeping 12 to the end

13 - Cyril - £75,000

22 - Terry - £35,000

Banker time with £1 and £1,000 remaining

Dot says it's the seagulls that have done that! The banker says she should've trusted him and Noel points out that the banker initially lied by saying there was a big value in her box.

Banker's offer:

£180

Well that sucks. Would have been interesting had we had £1/£1000 vs big number.

Crikey, the 10% nightmare chance it is, on a board where you'd get a five-figure offer (or swap) on absolutely anything else.

Banker absolutely forced that blue win, no amount of cynicism can make you Deal that on that configuration, only Richard-esque cowardice. But leaving anything else would've enabled a swappy Power 5 win...

The banker says Dot was guaranteed the swap, so here it is...

Banker's offer:

SWAP

He says Dot should take the SWAP, if she doesn't, she'll win £1!

Take it you swap 100% here KP ignoring the banker's mindgames?
