YES YES YES!

Now the Banker will either reward him, or force him to the relatively unlucky £15,000/£20,000 finish

So the next offer is 1/3 chance of £17k or 2/3 chance of around £90k. Expected value is around £65k.

Noel says the banker has to be careful now. Liam thinks he'll win the £250k... the banker wants to know what he'd consider to be a good offer, as he wants this to end  Liam says the offer would normally be £50k, but should be nearer £70k but even then he might go for it!!

Banker's offer:

£45,000

The question now is whether £15,000 is a job well done.

The possible two-box offers are £17,500 and two just short of £100,000, I'd suspect; with that in mind, I'd want £60,000 to even think.

Is the Banker playing to lose, so that the game can sell a 'No Dealing = CASH' angle? If so, I am disgusted.

Silly banker offer there. A poker player will take evens on a 66% chance.

Liam says the banker's made a really silly mistake, and he asks for the question! Banker phones and speaks to Liam... he admits he's made a mistake

New offer

Banker's offer:

£60,000

45k would force me to ND....

60k would be a ND for me too, given what he is guaranteed

Sorry KP, got the board wrong!

£60,000 is a lot better - infact it might even be a Deal for me, given my link with box 2...

Was that someone at Endemol deciding they made their preferences for No Dealing just a wee bit too obvious? Feels it from here, but I have my prejudices.

£60,000 would take out some perfectly sane players, but probably not me.

Liam says he needs to think about this one. Noel wonders if box 2 actually has £15k, and the banker's hoping Liam will no deal to the end and swap! Jez says that's a very good offer.

Liam says DEAL

For hindsight purposes, I'd have Dealt and opened box 2 to end all doubts...

Deal for £60k I think if he's playing the odds. He's getting odds of 1/2 on a 2/3 chance.

Oh, he takes it!

But are we about to see the same thing with what happened last time?

And he opts for the 'job well done' strategy now that he has an offer that's actually remotely Dealable.

No complaints from me, he's already made the Banker look silly and taken him for life-changing money.
