Noel's working hard to try and bring him down to earth and make him "focus".

Steve says that his biggest fear is that he thinks he knows where the £250,000 is, and he thinks it is in his wedding anniversary.

Steve asks if he can still have £3.90 for a haircut, and Noel tries to put things in perspective.

Steve says

DEAL

£40,000 is an excellent offer. Average is ~£67,000.

Ignoring the average though if we consider what happens if we continue. If we knock out £250,000 then we won't get offered this again and have to open the box. If we keep it then we may get a very nice 2box offer...

I'd be dealing though, had i not already done so before of course.

Wow, so if there hadn't been that 4-box offer in Vera's game, this would've been the 5th "banker spanking" in a row?!

You've had another spanking Noel tells the Banker

Banker's offer would've been:

£4,000

Noel opens box 17 and reveals £10,000

Box 22 with Margaret contains the 10p

Noel holds up the book and reveals that Steve wrote £75,000 in there.

What a game! Great to see a strong board, yes we're yet to see someone grab the one opportunity, but as Steve yet again proved, being reckless on even a strong board will bite you in the goolies if you get too greedy!

Good game today!

What an immensely irritating contestant, didn't enjoy the show at all. Still 40k is not to be sniffed at.

I missed today's game and now I wish I came home earlier! :(

But he certainly made all the Steves proud ( :-D ), enjoy that £40,000!

He certainly was an open and a very different person. I don't get irritated by things that easily, I am very tolerant. I can't remember finding any contestant irritating, about the only thing that would annoy me (in deal or no deal) is if contestants are negative all the time in their game.
I agree with Steve that you have to give kids love and comfort as well as steering them in the right direction.
It was great to see a strong board today after a weak board yesterday and so pleased that he won life-changing money (which we haven't seen for a long time) to support his family. Best of luck to him in the future.
