Natalie says she thinks she has £100k on the table. Emma says that's a really good offer, and she could take out the the reds in the next round, but Natalie wonders what if she said dealt and had £100k on the table. Michelle says Natalie told her that she thought she'd have a big money game.

Natalie says DEAL

I thought the 5 box offer would have been a bit more. There's no logic that the £500 going would have been a £12k offer but the £1k going meant £9.5k. Otherwise, a sensible decision at 5 box that proved to be the right one and about a big a TPW as you can get.

A sensible deal for 9.5K to avoid winning £1 :D

Maybe it should no longer be called the "poundtable" with £1 dominating the chart:

well done on 9.5k....though i still think it should have been the 12k since the 100k was still there! £1000 in that case was worth 2.5k then? I never realised the banker placed such significance on £1000. Ho hum. Glad she didnt go on, really didnt think she would, and thank god she didnt! :smt023

Very welldone on £9,500. A lot of money and £3,500 for herself aswell.
I had hoped she would take the gamble and go for £100k in the final two, and it seems as if I'm alone in that club. However due to her debts, having experienced debt myself, I can see very much why she dealt at £9,500. Welldone Natalie.

Undoubtedly my favourite game of the week so far.

Natalie came across as a little shy and nervous and there were times when i had trouble hearing what she was saying but at the same time there was something indefinably endearing about her. It's not just that she's gorgeous too look at (though that helps admitedly :-D ) but she radiated a certain degree of positivity and determination, I think a stronger board would have bought that out more, countering the nervousness, but it wasn't to be.

Given the first round i was afraid the curse of the hottie might be back in force, though then again every player this week has been dogged by bad luck, but i thought the end result was quite acceptable, only £250 shy of an OPW which is nothing really,

THought the six box offer was an interesting twist and one of the most unexpected mind games the Banker has pulled in a long time, As to why he didn't offer £12k at 5 box, did anyone really expect him to? It's all part of the mind games, He promised £12k for an all blue round and if there's one thing the Banker is it's a man of his word. I would have liked him to round it up to £10k having said that. I think that would have been fair

Good twist there - I actually liked the banker throwing in an offer at a completely unexpected point, it could knock a few people, but I think Natalie made all the right decisions, though I was worried at the fact the banker only promised £12,000 at 5-box for a blue in the next box and not an orange - I thought given the next box was £1,000, he could have lured her on by going down or sticking.

I'd like that twist to be used again but at 3-box with one big red and two blues, when the player totally isn't expecting it! :)

Which of course would allow the Banker to pretty much offer anything! :)

I remember thinking £9,500 was unexpectedly high, I expected a stick if an orange went - she'd probably still have taken it!!

And I imagined the three-box offer-out-of-nowhere in 2006, I think!! Evidence somewhere on the BB commentaries but I forget where...

Hadn't realised until i read this in Damion's thread but Natalie's actually been the most successful player this week by some margin, she took roughly half the total payout for the week.

And last week Lisa scooped the highest single payout over six shows when she won £50k.

Could we be entering a new era? After the curse of the hottie, could we be entering the era of the Luck of the Hottie?
