Noel says this is very spooky as it's so similar to Gaz's game... the banker's laughing at how incredible this is! He says he likes seeing everyone's disappointment at what Anna's missed out on.

Banker's offer would've been:

£30,000

£35,000 offer here, I reckon (to coincide the golden amount, and Gaz's final offer)

EDIT: I'd have gone to the end with a £30,000 offer

And I would've declined that offer

Argh!!! Should have gone for it and through about Gaz's game a lot more. It was sign of winning it. Also should have been thinking more what she had yesterday and thinking, I've got the next one up today.

Yes, Mark.

She couldn't take going away with a blue and she had more chance of an all-blue finish than £100k in the box, plus a 30% chance of blue/£5k to finish as well. You're the one being irrational.

Horrible luck for a player to be sensible and not easily led by the 'coincidences', only to find they'd have been rewarded for irrationality. NoelWatch will be fun tonight!

Yes I know but of what Gaz said about the £250k going in first box in his game and the £100k remaining, then it was showing a sign that it was waiting to be won. I would have gone on as I wouldn't have a big regret.

Well I may as well be honest - if it was any other game, it would have been £10,000 at 5-box for me...failing that, £30,000 at 2-box.

But with all those comparisons to Gaz, right from the first box revealing £250,000 I'd have just wondered if I too had the £100,000...and by 5-box I would have been fairly convinced, with £10,000 being just about low enough to force me on with that belief.

So to have an all-blue round, guaranteed £5,000 at least, and the £100,000 still in play, I'd have gone for it no matter what the offer was!

I did see the calculator in there, actually! But I didn't see much point in getting it out when there were more interesting items to be had from it... such as a witch's nose and the lucky hat...

I agree with Mark, it could've been lightening strike twice but poor Anna didn't see it coming and once again I was wrong about her having a blue in her box...

I hope this will encourage Sunday's player to go for it and win big, we need one right before the 1,000th show :(

No we don't NEED a big win at all :?

It was just bad luck that a coincidence robbed her of a happy ending...she still got £10,000 out of it!

Are you saying that the events of one single game from nearly three years ago was a sign of some sort? Just because its player Gaz was in the audience? What about the games of all of the other people who were there too? Why weren't those people's games giving 'signs' as well?

It was coincidence, flagged up by editing. Simple!

People, it's all random.

Any similarities between this and a previous game is just pure coincidence, and something that will be greatly emphasised in the edit.

When you get down to it, no matter how similar, at 5box there is only a 20% chance it's in your box, and a 60% chance you're gonna pick it in the next 3 boxes. At 2box it's still 50/50.

Going on because you believe in these coincidences and ignoring the money being offered is not a good strategy.

Indeed.

My fear is that player 997 will be encouraged to follow it... and win a blue...
