She needed that!

£1

£20,000

£3,250 is met with a negative response from the audience...someone yells out "HIGHER" so Noel thinks she mistook him for Bruce Forsyth!

But since Jake has two mummies, it's doubled!

Banker's offer:

£6,500

£9,600 was something of a decision to make.

A tad low for me though, I'd have most likely continued.

Hope she recovers this.

It's easy to be seduced into chase-the-OPW mode here, but I'd take this decision in isolation, see £6,500 as more than half as good as £20,000, and deal.

£6,500 is a deal for me. Higher offer than I'd expect on this finish.

Noel asks if it's a no-brainer, and Linz says it is and it isn't...

Noel gives both sides of the gamble...before Jason asks Linz what it would be like for her if she went home with £1...

Dennis from the audience reminds us that the £1 is double what he went home with! :-D But he says if it meant winning it again, he'd go for it again! :D

Linz says NO DEAL!

Box 4 will have a red today, there's no way it'll have a blue for the third time!

Noel really talks up how we want this to be the £20,000...

In box 4 is...£1 :(

I think she's chasing the OPW here. I wouldn't, but...

...wow. That's going to hurt. How will tomorrow's player respond?

Argh. She had 75,000 of those £1's yesterday. Was hoping for her to do well.

Tony has the £20,000 in box 8... :(

Linz says if you never risk it, you'll never get the reward, but that's life...she says she might spend the £1 on a lottery ticket and win £250,000 that way! :P

Noel wraps up the show by saying how these special shows grip us more than usual, yet the game is exactly the same, how we can still do heartbreakers even while wearing nice outfits!

But he does say he'll be wearing that jacket again tomorrow! :P

Tis a shame.

Mathematically of course it's correct to gamble there in the long term. As a one off game though that has to be a deal for me. I would have to assume she is sufficiently well off financially to be able to afford to take that gamble.

good attitude. Why deal moderate amounts - as the money will be 'spent and gone'?

Take a cautious deal and then blow huge amounts beyond regonition would be the 100% likely outcome

But I hope tomorrow's player shakes it off and goes for it!

Sounds like she was able to take going away with a blue. I hope so, seeing as that's what she's done :(

Certainly not as reckless a decision as some of today's audience made in their appearances.

I really liked that one - great to see so many familiar faces - we really need to try and recognise as many as we can! :P

The only decision really was the £6,500 at the end, but Linz did make out she was fine to go home with a blue if necessary, so kudos to her for trying...which makes it NOT a failure, Mad Mark! Gameplay, maybe...but not determination! :)

Great to see this twist too...let's see how much money will replace the £1,000 box tomorrow!
