Glad to know I'm not the only one to think there's a good chance of a similar offer or more!

I think I would to with the £35k/blue or £35k/orange as backups.

I would have more likely gone at twenty grand, and would have seen that five-box board as being at least as good as the eight-box one. I'm also generally more prepared to chase the £100k than the £250k as it means almost as much to me on my utility curve but has much less influence on the late-game offers.

Old faithful at a minimum. £30k+ if the banker's feeling generous.

You've survived and did that the hard way says Noel.... The Banker says this is going to be a big gamble now, and Carol says she is going to play the game...

Banker's offer:

£26,000

Swappy Barbara finish it is then. Old Faithful seems the right offer here, and I think it's what I'd want to be sure. It is, I'm gone and I think she should be too.

Noel, even I know that people have turned down £26k in the past.

Carol sounds like she's talking Wakey talk. While this would not be an unreasonable No Deal, I'm not convinced it would be for the right reasons.

Same here. Gaz's finish would have been a different decision I think.

Carol turns to her partner and he tells her not to ask him  Noel does a sweep of the wings, and it is a mixed reaction... Carol still thinks the £100,000 is in box 7, and there are talks of the SWAP, but Carol says that she said she would never swap...

Carol says

DEAL

I'd deal, I suppose. Old Faithful is good money, after all.
That satisfy you, Davey :D ?

Gaz's offer would've been an instant No Deal from me. This is the same amount to lose, though, and ten grand isn't wildly significant in the grand scheme of things.

Perhaps if I had the job I'm applying for, which would provide me with a secure income sufficient for an obvious path towards home ownership through savings, I'd think the same way about this offer too. (Such an approach seems to tally with alexandercbrown's gameplay.)
