Afternoon, all! All set for another good game today?

Noel obviously is! He's in a good mood; ever since Alice's win last week apparently we're in need of a fresh start...he's been delving into the files! Stephen's file says he is a genuine hero; he saved a woman from an armed man! A well deserved applause follows...but he was a jeweller whom the lady had been robbing with a knife!

And today's player is CHERI!

And of course, she has Wakey's box which is not a good sign...

Cheri looks stunned as she is chosen!

Her name is Muriel! Originally from Jamaica, she was christened Cheri as she looked "red like a cherry"...but when she came over here she changed her name!

She came to England when she was 21 to join her penpal - and amazingly they have now been together for 48 years!

She has a pic of her grandson who is suffering with a disability which will stop him growing higher than 4" tall (achondroplasia) But Cheri today is set for winning enough money today to get a custom bike for him

Noel asks her if she is over the initial shock now, and she says yes! The housekeeping is carried out...and away we go...

Noel calls a break now...he asks for ginger lemon grass! Apparently it's very good for your pipework! Cheri misunderstands which makes everyone laughs...even Noel's face has gone bright red!

Possibly an all blue round after the break

Cheri wants Jason's box next (number 8 )...Noel taunts him by saying if this is red, he'll regret wearing a top with a target on! He then calls a break!

A small announcement.

After some careful thinking, and providing Kes and H are alright with this, I've decided to put the red box seal I won (from the Guess the Box Amount Competition from the 12th March) up for grabs in a Deal or No Deal 1,000 Shows Forum Quiz!

I'll explain in a lot more detail, but to put simply, I'm going to come up with a big quiz to celebrate the big landmark 1,000th show on April 1st!
