£20,000 would be a fairly reluctant deal for me, but he'll only get significantly more by keeping one of the reds with the 250k.

And indeed, £20,000 would force me on.

That's better says Steve, and it will pay for holiday next year and a bit more... He then describes the holiday he wants to take travelling across America for 3 weeks...

Steve says

DEAL

Proveout round 6

Steve says that he knows the £250,000 is in box 16 and is going to take it out now, but Noel says if he is playing with honesty we have to leave it to the end.

22 - 50p Maureen

18 - £10,000 David (H2005) opened by Lisa

17 - 10p Ollie

Banker time with £15,000 and £250,000 remaining

This is one of the most powerful end positions we have been in, and Steve thinks it will be £110,000!

Banker's offer would've been:

£110,000

And £110,000 is a lie, it probably would be around £80,000-£90,000

Steve says if he was offered the SWAP he would have taken it and played on with box 16... Noel tells him he would have been guaranteed the SWAP as the £250,000 would have been in play, so Steve confirms he would have not taken the £110,000 and played on and swapped! Noel performs the hypothetical SWAP and Steve now has box 16...

Noel opens box 16 and reveals £15,000

Box 10 with Rachael contains the £250,000

Noel does his '6 No Deals away from £250,000' speech...

Such a way to butcher the end of the game...

£110,000 is obviously a lie.

And what's the point of the hypo swap?? Is he saying he'd have No Dealed the £110k?

Bottom line: he recieved £20,000 for a box worth £250,000 - the banker won by a mile.

I have to say though, when is someone actually gonna deal at more than £100k, it's now nearly been two years since it last happened? :(

I think they were allowed to get away with saying the offer would have been £110,000 as that was what Steve predicted! Only just, mind! :P

Not bad a game today, if only he had a little more belief in his luck, he'd have surely been a wealthy man!
