Well, he might as well play to the end but I won't be surprised if he has a blue in his box

I predict a return to £15k if he leaves the £75k intact here. And I'd probably go on there but would not really want to....

I'd already said 1 in 56 the show before, so I was trying to mix it up a bit, lol. I wrote it down as 1.78 in the green room, quoting 1.782 was actually a bluff.

Luckily no-on else will notice it.

The offer would've been £19,000 if Steve had kept £75k in play...

Steve says NO DEAL

Interesting that the Banker 'would have' gone above the third offer at two-box when a return to £15k would have sufficed. They don't want to encourage third-offer deals, do they?!?

Steve must wish they did. Painful game.

Gah - yet again the 20th box kills the game!

Still, he took the "defeat" really well...and if anything it happened for a reason; coz he certainly wouldn't have gone to the end facing a £19,000 offer on a 50p/£75,000 finish! :P

Ugh! A sting in a tail and a new member of the 50p club :smt009 :smt011

Get ready for cautious and poorly-timed dealing for the next few weeks

also, it is 1.785, not 1.782. I broke under the pressure and got it wrong. Luckily the banker didn't highlight that fact. lol.

He seemd to peak too soon. It's never good to get your best rounds in the ones where the banker/Channel 4 don't want you to deal.

Unlucky for the guy, but He took it really well. It actually helped him that he had a baby on the way. Something to look forward to. Something more important than a bit of cash.....

Well after last week's good games, we get a player who bad lucks smacks firmly in the face. £15k at 8 box would have been a very cautious deal with a 4/4 board and a 1 in 14 chance (I'm sticking to fractions and not decimals) of hitting 3 reds, which unfortuantely occurred.

Loved the statistical banter between Dan and the banker today.

that game really hurt me, after I ruined Cassi's game too, it was a hard blow to take (for steve too obviously) and he really is such a great guy. Think you're right Dan in that he peaked too soon.

p.s......did i cry again???!
