A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

That's a very random offer (or did I miss something at the beginning of the show?)

At least the swap proved well for him.

Bloody hell talk about a game of polar opposites! :(

I did get the feeling he was being a bit too dismissive of good offers for the board and that it might come back to haunt him and unfortunately it did.

Its only 1 show for goodness sake, at least wait a week or 2 before saying that!

Hard Luck Alex but he was dead right about the £20k offer! Just a shame he didnt keep the £250k! =(

But £750 is a lot of money and i hope he enjoys it!! =D

I said recently that those who think the offers are rubbish will need to rethink their strategy on what to do as The Banker has now got his trend with the offers/contestants spot on, otherwise they'll go to the end. It seems the opinions from some members on here transfered to Alex's mind.

That 5-box offer should've been higher, albeit only by a few grand. Of course in proveout it'd have been 40k

did we get the entertaining game we hoped for then? I only caught the last 10 mins.

Yeah KB, how is it Jan 08 again?

If anything, I think that was one of the greatest games we've seen in a long time! Such a big offer for an all-red opening round, loads of hilarious banter, Noel being told off for trying to put the mockers on his boxes.

It was just a bit of nasty Banker bullying at 5-box with that nasty targetist offer that punished him. If it was a genuine offer, he'd have surely felt a lot better for wanting to deal.

That's a very random offer (or did I miss something at the beginning of the show?)

The old man called Alex "Eggboy" as he wore a hat in Santa & Scooge which resembled an egg with a tea cosy. This lead to the first offer being a dozen thousand pounds.

I noticed that, also yesterday didn't have any credits which is rare for a programme to do this. I have a feeling they'll wheel out all the names for the 1,000 show countdown.
