The Banker calls and says that John may feel to rub his nose in it now

Banker's offer would've been:

£3,600

Noel opens box 10 and reveals £100

Box 11 with Stan contains the £10,000

John says he enjoyed that, and £12,000 is a lot of money and it will allow him to do a lot more travelling :D

The show in large, can't do no wrong at the moment! This is an incredible era for the show...

Can't argue with the decision, can argue with it being described as a 'fundamental error', can't argue with twelve grand for a blue.

Why is it only a fundamental error when an 18% chance is hit, Mr Edmonds?!?

At 8 box

Odds of hitting the £250k : 37.5%
Odds of missing the £250k but hitting one of the red backups: 35.71%
Odds of misisng the £250k but keeping both red backups: 17.86%
Odds of missing the £250k and keeping neither red backup: 8.93%

Given only the 17.86% would probably be a significant increase, the decision was sensible.

An enjoyable show with some fun banter during the first couple of parts and an interesting game as well. John was clearly happy with his £12,000 (which seemed to annoy the Banker) and whilst it's a shame he missed out on the additional £36,000 it wasn't a bad deal at the actual time. Of course in hindsight he could have got more, but then obviously at the time no-one would know that.

Had John gone on and hit the £250k then he would have been chasing the money to try and get back to £12,000.

The show recently has picked up a bit recently, I feel. We've had some interesting games & players, with some good entertainment as well. Hopefully this will continue during this month and beyond.

I wish John all the best, I'm sure the money will bring great pleasures on his travels!

The show, to me, is as entertaining as ever,..but its funny how the 'themed' games does make a difference.

I particularly liked halloween!

An enjoyable game, John proved to be something of a charector.

I had a feeling when he said Deal he could have got another round out of the game, especially with the Banker's carrot of a guaranteed £30k offer but it's better to go a round too early than a round too late and £12k for a £100 box is not to be sniffed at.

so a feel good result if not quite as satisfying as it might have been and if John has no regrets about his decision then neither should we.

John was an amazing man and he was delighted with the money. There was a lot cut out when he got lots of advice and he dealt cos he couldn't put his wife through another round. They were a lovely couple from my neck of the woods :-D xx

Forgot to coment on this, if he had gone on and dealt at that 5-box offer, it would've been an Epic Win

But since he didn't, it's a Moderate Win
