I think I'd deal here given that £100k/blue isn't going to be much more.

Leeane tells Patricia to imagine how she would feel if the top 2 go, and if she can handle that then play on...

Patricia says

DEAL

This could be a bankers gamble here but I can't see her taking it so it would be a bit pointless.

The Banker says there is only one offer he could have given now..

Banker's offer would've been:

£22,000

Noel opens box 4 and reveals £10

Box 22 with Keran contains the £100,000

That is incredible and absolutely amazing says Noel...

That's more like it. A great final 5 and a well-pitched offer dealt and providing an epic OPW.

Is Patricia the first person to have broken the curse?

I hope to those who think offers are rubbish that in 5-10 years time you'll be saying that "offer" would actually do something to my life.

Epic win I've seen for a long time, but I still can't get over that 5-box offer :?

It should've been around £42,000 - £57,000 :smt011

Patricia got very lucky today, but as a whole I can see why she kept gasping, enjoy £27,000, Patricia

Arguable either way at five-box, and her decision went the right way. Pleased to see no Banker's Gamble there as she'd never have gone for it - David was only remotely close to doing so on that final two (having turned down a grand less and having a slightly better blue) because Noel was in full-on Wakeyist mode with the run of blues to the table prior to that!

Great to see a big-money OPW. And yes, £27,000 is big money!

Answer me this. Would you wanted an offer in that region or did you want the banker to make the offer in the same region?

As either way you looked at it, The Banker got her to sell her box for the lowest amount possible.

Indeed.

If she was going to Deal for £27,000 why offer £40k+?

Because Patricia got VERY lucky to have dealt a poor offer and then have an almost crash, and doubly lucky to have a blue in her box

And besides, these offers nowadays are not senisble anymore :(

Not sensible for poor little Wakeyists like you that's for sure ;)

But the Banker recognises the players aren't like that, which they were two years ago hence the different offers then!

I'm pretty sure I said somewhere that I'm only a Wakeyist, 50% of the time ;)

The mean was £71,012 at 5-box. £27,000 is a lot of money to turn down.
