But but but but... the proveout is all about playing as you would have gone... so surely they should have done Trick or Treat to see if the Banker looked in his box or an offer after every other....

What we are doing now would never have happened if he went on and the offers would have been alot different.. surely this is going against the rules of the game :?

Noel asks Chris if he would have swapped at this stage, and Chris tells him he would have kept his box.

Well I'd gamble at these odds. Can't see him doing so though.

Noel tells Chris that he didn't understand why Chris dealt as he thought he was a gambler, and thought he would have played on with the board he had, and he runs throught the 3 amounts that are now in play.

Chris says

NO DEAL

Possibly the easiest £20k win that never was.

That really is pretty feeble. No danger of going away with a blue, just a fabulous opportunity to take a risk where the upside dramatically outweighs the down.

The rules states that Trick or Treat is only available if a player is in active play at five box. As Chris dealt one round earlier then it is not required to do it. Anyway, if we did do the whole thing then the proveout would've been longer.

As KP always says. Chalk one up for the recession.

And we welcome back the Orry effect, which lasted for, how long last time, 9 months?

That's probably one of the worst games I've ever seen in terms of gameplay.

The £8,000 deal he took was pretty weak when you consider there was a 1 in 2 chance that he'd win a holiday and have an offer after every-box after 5-box. And then to turn down the banker's gamble on £3k vs £20k was shocking. I could understand it if it was blue vs £20k, or even £1k vs £20k, but the gap between £3k and £8k is fairly small, especially when you compare it to the possible gain of £12k if he won £20k.

The show overall was alright but I thought either a trick or a deal before 5-box was coming due to the timing and pace of the game. Chris was a funny character with all the "miserable" stuff, but unfortunately I'll remember this show for 2 missed opportunities. The fact that they didn't do the trick / treat stuff in proveout is rather strange too, but Noel has always said that if the player gets to 5-box in play then they get to open the coffin / gravestone / extra boxes etc...

Weak deal today, whoever predicted yesterday we would see cautious deals as of today wasn't far wrong :( And the week started off so well with Whitey on Monday

Very monotonous game and not one I personally don't think will be remembered in months to come

First time ever I have seen someone deal before 5 box on one of these special shows and it really killed the atmosphere when he dealt

Hmm... I thought that too. I thought Noel would liked to have rubbed it in a bit more if he picked a Treat with an offer after each box.
