:ponder:

Well if you had that game you would have won 50p. :P The deal was OK, it was just a shame that she had the 50k in her box. Oh well!

I think this is a moderate fail.

It's because I thought she would have the 50p because of the blue run we had recently, so I got that wrong :(

Also, if you look at how bad it started, there's always a good chance that you'll turn it aorund and win big and I mean power five big and we could've had that :smt009 :smt011

Given I didn't see the earlier offers. I could've offered £7,000 with the final two.

Yeah, sure, blame the random balls in a bag selection because she had £50,000 on the table and not £250,000.

How many 19 year olds can claim they pocketed £17,000 in 60 or so minutes?

But alas, the young lass has gone, we'll miss you :(

Not bad going getting £17,000 out of a game where you hit the top 2 in the first round and then go on to have £50k and not-much-else at 5-box. The 5-box offer was actually very generous, so the banker's promise of £23,500 at 2-box was justified. However I'd have wanted to know what a blue vs £50k final 2 would produce... and I wouldn't have guessed it'd be as high as £17,000. Bearing in mind the banker has offered as low as £10,000 on that final 2, he probably could've got away with going that low and having Chelsea still deal.

I'm not entirely sure why Chelsea did get generous offers. She was positive and didn't let the big numbers going affect her, but she surely would've accepted an offer as low as £10,000 on that final 2. You could say it's bad banker play but at least it meant Chelsea had a chance to deal a generous offer, rather than taking a poor one simply so she avoided winning a blue. Shame she had £50k in her box, but she played the game as well as you can when you don't have much to work with after an awful start.

A brilliant result from what looked like a dodgy game. To be honest, I thought the 5k No Deal was ever-so-slightly dubious... I hope she wasn't sucked in by the 10% chance...

I loved her confidence there, and was actually looking for a Hilary/Lynne-style crazy No Deal there, but all good, fantastic show.

Was surprised that the banker went as high as £17k at 2 box. I was expecting £15k maximum (although the £23.5k promise of an offer for a £3k/£50k finish could have been construed that the offer could have been that high).

Only caught that from the 2nd break on but I was astounded by the generosity of that final offer - I can't recall the last time the offer was that high on 50k/blue (in active play anyway), even Artak was offered less with the highest blue and he was a very big gambler!!

Could have been Vic's 19k?

Still she took some justifiable gambles (rather than just being forced on), got herself a much better offer then dealt, so a good enough game. And I was impressed by her calmness and compousre for someone so young as well, I expected her to be a bundle of nerves! And she didn't seem too disappointed with the 50k in the box either (maybe she'd have swapped it away?) :)

Despite being named Chelsea she seemed to favour the reds more than the blues, but then coming from Liverpool she no doubt prefers the reds anyway... :eyes: Moving swiftly on from my limited football knowledge and puns...

Considering the start of this game I wasn't expecting a good result and was expecting a game more along the lines of a Derek/Nikki trainwreck and so it was nice to see Chelsea get a decent final offer and subsequently deal at £17,000. Maybe the fact the Banker had promised £23,500 meant that it would of been a bit harsh to drop the offer that much considering the red Chelsea found was only £3,000 along with 2 blues as well. Perhaps if the Banker hadn't made a promise in the first place, despite relating to an all blue round, his end offer may have been less generous than it was as there would of been no expectation as to what the final offer could have been.

So a nice result and overall a nice show. With today's newbie Constance already looking like she'll be quite a character.
