Best of a bad job really that, took the only dealable offer of the game and hit the big red in time after it.

£5,000 was something of a result after such a poor start.

Surely this is the perfect game, no?

Doug dealt at his highest offer and given that he had such a poor board from early on 5k is quite a result.
Lot's of people I'm sure would have been tempted to play on of the less than 50:50 chance that they wouldn't pick the 100k. Doug was proven right to play the odds, if I was playing I think I probably would have done the same thing. In my last job it would have taken me 4 months to make 5k and a lot longer to save it.

I agree with you 100% on that game. Then again, Box 23 is always right.
