That'll probably get a No Decision.

I'd definitely have got the OPW there - I did predict she'd be distracted in some way and I can only presume she was. Still, at least she could see the disaster situation when it was thrown in her face, and that's not a bad deal really.

I'm undecided on today's game. Sure Judy was a funny person, and she was more of a gambler than a lot of people recently. But I just found today's game fairly hard to get into. :?

At least it was yet another blue on the table, giving the next player a "good chance" of winning a red - haha watch it be £1,000! :P

Sorry to burst your bubble, Tom, but it's not that easy to get rid of Mad Mark and Box 23 ;) !

It's a bit hard to classify this game. Sure, Judy didn't take the highest possible offer, but she did sell a 10p box for £8,000. So therefore, Box 23 agrees with KP and says that this game is a

Well it seems as though the banker learnt his lesson from yesterday - the day after a big win, we get some proper offers and hard decisions to make. More like it. And happily, proper offers when there's a blue at the table! (I thought sal's offers the day after Betty were excellent but he had 50k :( )

I don't think it was anything to do with the banker being more scared of Judy than anyone else, she seemed a bundle of nerves, but thank goodness she got a good result, I was worried about how she'd take a trainwreck, especially as the 100k would have been hit at the worst possible time!

If he'd really offered £1,000 at 5-box I'd have thrown things at the TV. :)

Well, due to my whole day of DOND on monday, I didn't get round to watching any of this week's televised episodes until today, when I watched 3 (as is the traditional daily recording schedule)!

Bit of a mixed bag. Bill's show was quite entertaining with the bleeped-out swearing. I remember on monday Noel said "Ok, let's say something that can actually be broadcast on channel 4!", as at recordings they tend to break off into ever-obscure and often rude tangents. For it to be left in was quite surprising, but it gives viewers an idea of how rude recordings can get! As for the deal, it was quite weak for the board, but at least he didn't have £100k, and the ending wasn't too bad.

I didn't exactly warm to Julie's attitude myself, but at the same time over-confidence is going to achieve high value results in this game occasionally, more so than caution. An offer at the end would have given a decision, and we were denied that, and instead given a 'roulette wheel' lottery, which is not really where the tension lies in this game. Plus, you're not essentially 'punishing' someone if you're giving them £37,502.50 which they must bet on red or black (ok, blue then)... are you?

However, it's our first power five win in ages, so I shouldn't complain too much :P

Today's game was entertaining enough, Judy seemed to be really enjoying herself, pity the board largely fell apart. Good set of offers and I'd probably have taken the £10k, the £8k she took was perfectly justifiable, so not a bad result.

£37,497.50 actually - that's half the difference between the two amounts, as opposed to half of their sum... [/pedantry]

Judy was obviously very excited to be playing her game and that in turn made for a fun, if a little crazy at times, show. The way Judy didn't wait for Noel to ask the question was fun as indeed was her "dodo" moment.

The deal was reasonable and I wasn't sure what Judy was going to do. I thought perhaps she may just play on to the end without much thought and then regret it later if she ended up a blue. At least it proved to be a good deal in the end at £8,000 considering her highest offer through out was only £10,000
