Neither

and blame those bag of balls for having ten consecutive blue values being brought to the table.

or why not blame the person who chose the ball?

Interesting show, considering Bill didn't make a decision the entire game until he said deal, then it was the wrong one!

Well that was surreal. Saw a short bit of it in John Lewis today as I was shopping there for one of these and saw the board. This was at 11-box and I remember thinking 'that's nice and stable' and saw the offer and then gave up... although judging by the deal he made, apparently that's all that got the game to 11-box let alone 5-box...

A good game today - but about time we see a relative who encourages a good gamble. Amazingly she was right!

The bleeper bit was legendary! :P

10 blues and counting, also the worst set of (in-play) offers I think I've ever seen. Everyone got at Anne nearly a year ago for dealing £16,500 on a very similar board - and Bill dealt 4k less! I wonder what the real 2-box offer would have been? Something in similar generosity (or lack of it) to Michelle's 12k I reckon. :(

Still an entertaining show, unusual that the wife wanted the husband to gamble (usually its the other way round). Both of them were an absolute hoot, I reckon it might actually have been funnier had Olive played, but on the downside she'd have won a fiver! I loved the funny bit with lee and Gill too. :)

At least he came out of it with something decent though, which is more than you can say for the majority of season 4......

A cautious deal, but an entertaining show to start the week off.

I thought Bill and his wife (plus Noel too) made a great double act and there was some really funny banter between them all. I found the swearing scene rather amusing and unexpected. Even though it was bleeped out (obviously) i'm still surprised it was included in the final edit. Though perhaps that was thanks to Noel's end comment.

The offers were weak for the board, but that seems to be the case now in general. I thought it was worth going on though because as long as Bill kept one of the Power 5 in he was bound to get an offer of £12,500 or more. At least Bill get a decent sum of money out of the game though and provided us with a very entertaining game as well.

And I've sussed out the words...largely due to being in the audience so many times and remembering which words Noel likes to use the most:

"Five b*ll*cks, four f**ks and one sh*t" :P

Interesting that the missus encouraged Wakeyism and he didn't listen (even when he'd have been right to by both actual gameplay terms and non-hindsight-assisted analytical terms...) - I'm still waiting for the 'anti-Donna' game where someone is pressured into a No Deal by a relative and then crashes and burns, I suppose Mark's 4p game is almost the same but with Noel/the Banker 'guarantees' and not as clear...

That was such a fun game, even if he did deal too early. Olive was so funny! Hope I'm like that at her age.

I've a potty mouth so I'm half way there!

Bill and Olive were a great double act and while the deal erred on the side of caution i don't think it was a bad result. At least he made a profit on his box - and it's not as if he didn't have to fight to get that offer, from some of the early rounds that was looking decidedly uncomfortable
