I can. The £75,000 hasn't been on the table for this whole series. I think she has the £75,000.
EDIT: Well we're wrong.

I thought £33,000 was coming... :P

A very disappointing deal on one of the strongest 8-box boards this season, but at least it was an OPW...

This was a much better game than yesterday's Incinerator Food crapfest. Congrats to Michelle, and enjoy the money :) !

This is exact proof that we won't be seeing a huge win for a long time... Dealing such an offer- right I'll stop here. Work out the rest for yourself, you should understand :P

The over-under for the next big win is 10 years. Place your bets now.
Yes, I am being serious.

That was certainly a cautious deal but after the previous 2 days, it's understandable why she did it.

I do wish the banker would stop these stupid predictions, especially as both predictions at 8 box were less than 2% probabilities.

Really pleased for Michelle. I personally wouldn't have dealt at £20,000 but it turned out to be justified. I think the £12,000 proveout offer at 2 box was artificially low. I think this was to give the opportunity for a contestant to beat the banker to restore the feel-good factor again. Either way it's really good for the week to end on a high note after the trainwrecks! :-)

Pleased for Michelle but I have to make a gambling stance on this one unfortunately. That £20,000 was poor and although she crashed, that final offer should have been at least £20,000, if not more to prove "she went too soon, to win big money" etc.

But oh my god, well over 125 shows now since the £75,000 was last on the table...I REALLY thought it had finally come! But alas not!

A lucky OPW, but nonetheless well deserved after avoiding what would have been a totally unlucky run of THREE trainwrecks!

Well in active play, I can't see that proveout offer going £20k or above (although maybe closer than £12k!), especially after what's happened in the last 2 days, we'd all be sat there going "Yeah ******g right..."

I'd have been very tempted to go on at 8-box but it proved the right decision and I think players are encouraged by good decisions as much as they are by big wins. Well done Michelle 8)

That final two had Banker's Gamble written all over it... and if anything she should have gone at 11-box if the eight-box gamble wasn't one she was willing to take. Still, like the last person who would have done so but got sucked into 'playing the game', she got a subsequent offer for twenty grand on a board worth thirty or more, and likewise had a collapse after it.

The difference is she dealt.

That was the game Mark's should have been... only less spectacular because Mark had the Igor finish instead of one that could have produced a higher offer than twenty grand (Endemol obviously wanted the feel-good ending today, which makes a bloody change).

I quite enjoyed today's game, but I did think (at the time) that Michelle should of gone on at least one more round. However maybe it wasn't worth the risk to go on despite the strong board. The chances are had Michelle went on to have a good round the offer wouldn't have gone up that much (unless she had that all blue round), as seems to be the case with offers now. The offers slowly creep up a few grand at a time till they get to £20,000 or so which seems to be the psychological barrier for many, including Michelle. It's clear that £20,000 meant a lot to her and I suspected it would be a deal after seeing her reaction.

I also expected a Banker's Gamble today. Even if Michelle was unlikely to take it.

Today's show also marks the 8th consecutive blue in a row to appear in the contestants box. With the last red appearing back in Nev's game on 24th September - £5,000

Last nine games - Contestants box

24th Sep: Nev - £5,000
25th Sep: Jas - £50
26th Sep: Sheila - £50
28th Sep: Liz - £5
29th Sep: Nick - £50
30th Sep: Meena - £750
1st Oct: Mark - 1p
2nd Oct: Pete - £50
3rd Oct: Michelle - £250

Also I know it's a random game, but i'm still surprised out of the last 8 games £50 has appeared on the table 4 times.

I forgot to mention earlier that I too was expecting a Banker's Gamble at the end. But that said, bearing in mind she had already dealt at £20,000, I doubt it would have been a "gamble" considering the circumstances involving the other Gambles.

Well, certainly a more positive result today, if not necessarily as entertaining as the last couple of games. Even though she dealt a fairly low offer for the board, I was actually quite glad she dealt in the end, and was not sucked into the "if you go on..." routine by the banker that should definitely not be used as often as this.

In the past, part of the art and subtlety of the game was working out what the next offers would be, and plus £80k was inflatory even on the board she would've left, trying to goad her on. At least she didn't fall for the banker's trick, and I was really hoping the banker would lose in the end - and he did! :P
