Pete was a great character and it was a very humourous show. Shame about the bad game he had, but someone like him could probably take it better than some other emotional players who have been lucky enough to avoid blue wins.

I don't believe the banker when he said that the offer would've been over £4,000 had Pete had a 1p vs £10k final 2! More like £2,000 or even less. :? Oh and there was no sound effect today at the squashdown, unlike yesterday! :P

Bad luck Pete, and although I knew the result of this game before it was aired (from reading the spoilers section ) it was still a very fun show and a great watch.

I also knew the outcome of this game beforehand, but I didn't want it to be Pete, he was quite a character on the wings (I'm yet to see his game).

What a great bloke! Pete was one of the best characters I've seen for along time and as so often happens when you have a funny game the board gets away from them for some reason.

It's not going to take Noel the length of the break to count todays winnings out...

Ugh. I HATE shows like this  .

without question.

IMO, shows like this one should NEVER be aired. We want to see good prople do WELL, and NOT make a mockery of themselves and the show. We don't need any more 1p club members. We need people who know how to win decent sums of money. A total of 5p given out over 2 shows? Please. That's just bloody pathetic. Call me when someone takes home a Power 5 amount, which won't be for a while, it seems.

I think we also have a new record for the lowest winnings over 2 consecutive shows - I think the previous record was Pippa and Adam's 50p and 1p (totalling 51p). Now the record is held with Mark and Pete with... 5p!

You should really actually watch the show before making a judgement... whats good about this countries version is that all shows are shown, good or bad. All players have their characters built up and for them to suddenly just disappear off the wings would disrupt the whole rhythm of the show and the stats would be buggered as well... Seriously it was a brilliant show just a shame about the result.

Yeah, and if it were up to me, I'd have scrapped both shows and made both players play over again. I'm sorry, this winning of serious chump change is a deplorable trend, and it must not continue. If I were a network executive and I noticed that contestants on this show were winning next to nothing, I'd either cancel the show immediately, or have said players play again. Anyone who thiught these past 2 shows were exciting serioiusly needs to rethink their words.

Well, money-wise, it's been dreadful but if you look at it from a entertainer's point of view, it was really entertaining to see a character play :)

I'm sure one day, we'll have the greatest game of Season 4 ;)

No offence Mark, but you don't really appear to have grasped the idea of our show. Our show is very different to the one you see where they scrap the crap episodes. Our show is more about the characters and therefore it's important every episode is shown. Also, it's nice to have a bit of variety in terms of winnings once in a while.

Not if this trend continues. Anything less than £5,000 is unacceptable. It appears that DoND has crashed at the same time as the US stock market. How ironic.

Okay, so the guy was a character. Very nice. I'm one too, and people like that don't deserve to do so badly. I'm glad that the US version scraps episodes occasionally. It prevents us from seeing some real craptastic shows. The UK version needs to learn to follow this trend as well.

No. It. Doesn't. Yes, these games can be unpleasant to watch but you can't pretend they never happened. If people win significant money all the time then the show would just be dull, we'd have known the results of Lynne's and Betty's games the moment they said no deal, how crap would that be?
