That should stop the Banker giggling says Noel, and he thinks it's looking a good board now. The Banker says that Ada has done nothing but upset him since she has been on the wings!

Banker's offer:

£11,000

Decent offer on a volatile board. Well worth continuing though.

Nick talks about how it is his daughter's birthday soon, and how he would like to walk in with a big grin on his face. Nick goes to Claude for some advice, and he tells him the good aura that he has around him doesn't necessarily mean that he will have luck today, it could be in the next 3 months :P

Just as Noel asks the question the Banker calls back and says that Nick has an all-blue round his next offer will be £28,000

Noel asks if they should put the kettle on now, or does that really change anything... Noel goes to ask the question again and the Banker calls back again and raises it to £30,000!

David encourages Nick to play on...

Nick says

DEAL

Noel asks Nick what he's thinking, and is not sure this next offer will help. The Banker thinks that Nick has blown it...

Banker's offer would've been:

A nice game today. He dealt a good sum of money. Sure, there was one more round, but he beat the banker well. spank

I came back a little later than expected, once again we have not quite a banker spanking today, but oh well... 8)

What happened to playing on with total honesty? He swerved box 8 cos he "suddenly got a bad feeling about it" or whatever, then immediately opened it when he needed a biggie. Surely if he was playing on with honesty it should have been left till the last round with 13? What a crock.

The Big Lebowski!

Well done, Nick. £11,00 is a good sum of money although I think I might have gone one more round and taken the £17,500.

Not by any means a truly bad deal, although there were enough safety nets to drag me on - it wouldn't have taken much more to take me out. An average TPW is a pretty fair result.

I'm surprised the Banker didn't put in a 16 or 44 motif to relate to the Pope bet (£44 his winnings on predicting Pope Benedict XVI).

Another good show today - Nick was a nice bloke and again there was some good banter in parts. We also had another deal which was justifiable either way... I think today's 5-box board would've been a good time to offer a banker's gamble actually... £11,000 would've been a justifiable offer there. Would he have taken on the gamble? I reckon not...
