Indeed not, and he went close enough last time. I think Nev may have gone if he realised the offer's true generosity but not for the first time we have a player who looks at how many are higher, without regard to how much higher, if you get my drift.

Still, it's probably good to see it the other way round! I'd go here too although it wouldn't take much less to make it a rapid No Deal!

And again he plays on. I suppose it makes a change to see someone sucked in by the stability of the board rather than petrified of the instability!! (That we are below £20,000 makes a difference too!!)

I wouldn't deal here anyway, since £5,000 is guaranteed and is a reasonable sum of money.

He squeezed the board at one end, then the other, and just kept going until he left himself with a finish so anticlimactic he turns down the mean and gets no reaction. Very, very odd game. But a red win at least!

And apparently he was a Wakeyist. He got the wrong game there, that was one which was destined for a moderate result no matter what the player!

What, winning a reasonable £5,000 is so horrible to happen to you, with the higher value being £10,000? It wasn't terrible that he won the lower amount, it would have only terrible if the low amount was the hobo 5, or the higher amount was the power 5.

I agree, it was a very odd game indeed - the five-box board was quite unusual and low-rent, but he had the right attitude - and £5,000's a good sum to win. Funny, it seems like £5k gets won from the player's box all the time recently! :P

Not a bad game, but not a very memorable one either. Would have been much better if Martyne and Nev had each others boards...

Well £5,000 is good, but we have been yet robbed of a £75K win again :?

Martyne would definitely have taken the £12,500 for an OPW yes, and as for Nev, would he have actually maintained the espoused Wakeyism on a big-money board? We'll never know and I wish we did!

Wait! Don't tell me, we were robbed of a £75,000 win because the show uses a random selection via the use of random balls in a bag. They can always use the system in March 2006... there were no random balls in a bag then.
