Martyne's game today.

Noel says he knows the players are spending the money at the hotel before they've won it! He says Doug has put a deposit on a new wig and Chelsea is planning to buy a new pony set. :P

Let's hope the refreshing absence of timidity from the last couple of games continues.

Martyne has box 1.

She works in recruitment and speaks a bit about her job. Noel says she's one of the lads.... as she's always worked in male-dominated offices. Martyne's mum and boyfriend are in the audience, and her mum confirms that Martyne is the laziest person in the world! She shows some pics of her dad and brother.

Here we go.

Avoid the power five here and we could see the best offer in a long time.

So much for that idea! Oh well, still incredibly strong.

Martyne says that could've been worse. The banker is worried about the good aura that Claude reckons Martyne has.

Banker's offer:

£11,500

Just about as good as one can realistically hope for, even with that last box of the round. Has that start set up excessively high expectations, which will cause Martyne to gamble more than she might otherwise? I suspect a few here rather hope so...

And that's a brilliant round. I'd want thirty grand here I think.

Martyne says she's gobsmacked and doesn't believe it, but Noel says it's real and the reality is that Martyne could be destined to win a life-changing sum of money, but he doesn't want to jinx it!!  The banker gets angry with Claude for revealing 1p yesterday and a low blue today :P He thinks Claude has a blue aura, and is not happy with him. Noel tells Claude to check the brakes on his wheelchair :P

Banker's offer:

£16,500

Definitely not dealable. There's a chance of getting back to that territory at five-box even after a very bad round next.
