Paul says it's good that his wife isn't here because she would tell him to deal anything over £20,000, and Noel asks him if he has a big spare room :P Paul goes to his friend and daughter for advice...

Paul says

NO DEAL

Wow a correct prediction from me! Woo! :P

I'd be tempted here...the first time inages that an offer is not far from the Power Five at 8-box.

Infact, yes I would deal.

EDIT: remembering I would have £5,000 and £15,000 backing them up, I'd actually not take it haha!

I'd definitely go on in this position. h2005 was offered £32,000 and all he had extra compared to this was £1k and £3k!!

Three five-figure amounts at five-box mean that if he wants to chase the £21,000, he's got a very reasonable chance of doing it.

The mean is above £21,000 too...

The Banker says that he got lucky there, but he is disappointed about Paul's daughter and would like her to explain why she said no deal. She tells him that is was because the big one was still in play...

Banker's offer:

£15,000

Paul calls his daughter down to the table... She tells him that she would be very tempted now, and Noel asks how much £15,000 means to him...

Paul says

NO DEAL

I should have expected that offer. I'd play on with a tiny bit of reluctance...

Seems as though he is indeed chasing the £21,000. That was an offer where both courses of action were entirely valid.
