I enjoyed your game Wendy, and you've no idea how nice it is to hear you say that. One of my pet hates about the forum are those fly-by-nights who post while they're on screen, then disapear as soon as their games are shown.

Why? It's not like signing up obliges you to post here for life or anything...most contestants probably aren't big fans of the show so once everyone they know is gone from it there's no reason why they should keep watching, let alone posting about it on here...

I suppose some must lose interest when they've been on, specially if they haven't won much themselves and it must be tough to then see other people follow and win loads (really not talking about myself here ha ha).
My mum has only watched it because I've been on and even though I've been telling her about the other contestants and she has actually really got into it, she says she won't watch it again, bless her.
I used to come on the forum and just read before but now it's part of my day, so I will be posting on here fr a bit hopefully. Can't wait to have a go at some of the deals I know are coming up hee hee

You've hinted at some significant variety in the next few weeks - I'm sure that these low offers will eventually lead to some gift-wrapped mega-wins and alas there's a good chance of some spectacularly ill-informed Deals as well given what came late last season, but I guess we can only speculate for now!!

Hi Wendy, when you are on the show it is probably one of the most
important things happening in your life. It is the main topic of colleagues and friends conversation when speaking. It therefore makes sense for many to post and see what is being said on the board. After a while the hullaballoo dies down and you get back to some sense of normality.
I can understand why many back off after their show as the interest dies. And more often than not due to the contestants struggling to cope with any negativity to their friends or themselves it is obvious that we will not hang around to endure further recriminations after the debating/arguing has ended. More so i feel than finding it difficult to watch people win big.....but you may very well be right.
That said i try to check up daily for the craic. It's a great substitute for not being there any longer and allows me to remember my moment. A moment which none of us want to end no matter what the outcome. I am sure 99% of contestants would rather go back on the wings and show than have a holiday.
Thanks for giving it a good go on your show, made for very good viewing. Keep the posts flowing.

P.S. I wish i was there for the series 4 games, i might have now had Molly's bedroom decorated!
;)

Thanks Les. As I've said before, you were the first person I spoke to properly when I first arrived and you had just done your show. So I know you know exactly what I'm talking about.
It is the most amazing thing to experience and I would gladly do it all again (although I'd go for different boxes.....) as I know we all would.
You summed it up perfectly and I think I, like you will keep logging in and hopefully contributing something half decent to the forum.
Molly won't care about her bedroom, just that she's got a fab dad x

Thanks Wendy. Can hardly remember the aftermath of my show. It was a bit like immediately after a death, a totally surreal period where you are not really in control of what is happening. I remember speaking to all of the newbies and trying to be as up beat as possible, hiding what i was really feeling. To cap it off Eloise had just had a nightmare game and she was really down. I ended up forgetting my game and helping her come to terms.....to sum it up i wish i could have spent more time with the newbies but it was difficult in the circumstances.
Keep up with the posts you are doing a great job and hopefully we can have a good catch up at one of the many re-unions!

Just watched your show, and Noel called you a Pearl, how nice.
Great game, and very brave to go on. Pleased to see a red box. Hope you do get a holiday out of it Wendy

Thanks Tricky. I had a great time and yes we've booked a holiday, can't wait. Want to see how the rest of the people I met there do first though.
