Those offers were the worst I've ever seen!

£10,000 at 5-box was as good as being offered a box swap...completely useless.

I feel sorry for Mary completely...she had to go for it and in true Deal or No Deal style, she crashed.

When is this bad luck going to end, I wonder... :?

Mary has got to be one of my favourite contestants in a while, there was just one thing that made me furious in the game and that was the £10,000 offer at 5-box. That was a horrendus offer! I remember Graeme from back in 2007 got an offer of about £44,000 with almost the same board! and im just thinking if the offer had been in the £20,000's she would have dealt and left with a fantastic game! Nope the banker offers £10,000 which she rightly no deals and ends up with a disaster of an end!

Lovely lady with a horrid result! But at least shes got an extra £1,000! Enjoy the money Mary! :-D

Not sure, but I'm getting very close to creating a "Year since a mega win happened" thread :smt009

Yeah, good idea. It's been Banana Sandwich after Banana Sandwich this season. The luck is just not there. At this rate, the next mega win will happen in 10 years from now.

I think I'll try and get a screengrab of the credits from the More4 repeat to post on here. (Cropped to show just the text of course... don't want to get C&Ded for accidentally showing Noel's head... ).

Mary was a fun contestant and had the boxes fallen right I reckon we'd have had a huge deal if the £250k had remained to the end. I doubt she'd have gone for the £250k even if she'd had £20k as backup (unless the offer was really stingy) as she didn't seem to be able to tell very well what was / wasn't a good offer. But she did play it well as it happened as those offers were pretty awful - the five-box offer could've easily been £20,000 - £25,000. £10,000 was terrible, especially when you consider many players have got £12k - £15k with just 4 blues / £250k.

The £1,000 handout at the end was again rather odd, and that now means every blue winner of Season 4 so far has won over £1,000, which kind of makes a mockery of the whole thing of having bad luck and taking it on the chin. How must the blue winners of late-Season 3 be feeling seeing others they were on with who also won blues get £1k handouts? :? I'm not sure why they're bothering as it's not exactly amazing enough to go "WOW" and it's eroding the mean character of the banker. Although if I won a blue, I wouldn't say "no" to an extra £1,000 if it was offered to me. ;)

It's a game of total chance and we're just as likely to have a run of weeks of extremely good luck matched with gamblers - but the question is when it'll happen.

We're nowhere near a year since a mega win happened though... it's true there haven't been (m)any recently but we did have £100k Betty in May and £60k Matt in March.

I'm really confused, she blatantly is not 21 so why did she get the £1,000? She did say 21 didn't she...I have to admit I couldn't understand what she was saying for half the show, I actually thought she'd dealt the fifth offer and was wondering why the "Deal" caption hadn't come up until Noel said we wanted to keep the £250,000...

We did have those but I call more than £75K a mega win, Betty's was one that we were waiting for 8 months :|

So it's actually 4 months since we've had a mega win

A nod to Sue Townsend there. You could say Glenn is poking fun at one newspaper as when they covered the sequence selection in 2006, they aged him in his 40s where he is still in his 30s

It looks like the only genuine age in the list was the Computer Graphics, Lumina (Age 2.33333).

It hasn't been a whole year since a massive win. Don't forget Jess dealt for £40,000 in early July.

I've got some screen grabs of the credits (cropped), if you want me to post them?

I've also got a YouTube video of the credits which should be up in a minute also.

Yes, go for it. It'll save me the bother plus it'll help you on your way to getting a place at the 2012 Olympics to win a gold for "Number of C&D e-mails received from Endemol" if they find it. :P
