It's not about the money, it's meant to be about the game. The board says that she shouldn't have even considered that offer, even though the £50,000 has gone. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

50p or £5,000... having declined £6,000 earlier on, Val should just go for it now. £5,000 is a great consolation prize and a lovely sum of money, well worth a stab at it.

£1,500- reasonable offer for the board but worth gambling here.
