Talking of Noel (and slightly off-topic) but did he make any "bloopers"? They've only ever really left one in and that was at the start of Clive's game when he fluffed his intro...

Plus getting the box number wrong in VENTRESS's game...

I remember in the shows I went to see earlier on this year, someone in the audience had a bad cough just as he was delivering the opening speech, and he said something like "Oh, for goodness sake, get it out of your system!", everyone was in fits of laughter, and he had to start it again.

Then, in the same episode, as he was entering at the game board, he tried to make some witty joke about one of the wings which failed spectacularly, so he flapped his arms about and they re-shot the walk-down.

Generally, though, they rarely have to re-shoot anything Noel says, it's more a case of cutting out the rude bits!

Aww, they should've kept that in as Noel Spaz Attack number 3...

Helen came across as pleasant and likeble, and that was a decent game, not earth-shattering maybe but enjoyable enough.

It was a tough call whether or not to deal at 4-box but obviously she made the right decision, both for her and for the board.

Well done Helen, but what's with Stacey-anne getting left till the end - again!!! - does nobody like her??

Haha, I noticed that as well. I was wondering whether she had no arms or something. Doesn't happen in today's game, fortunately. :smt023

I liked her alot, she walked beautifully and gracefully the whole time. Game very enjoyable, but although she had the £250 wouldn't she have had the swap, which meant if she had swapped she would have won the £35000. Please correct me if I am wrong, but do it nicely.

She would have had the option available of course, but we can't be certain she'd have definitely taken the swap. Many are "scared" of giving the big money away, and others stick in my mind such as Rossano and Kenny, who have left their lucky numbers/birthdays until the end, not swapped and were entirely right to do so. And 20k Rachel from April kept saying she thought the 20k was in the other box but also was scared or didn't want to swap.

And also she'd have been more upset if £250 had been revealed by Noel in the knowledge that the box opened wouldn;t have been on the table (think of Karl for instance). So it's a maybe/maybe not for me. :)

hypothetical swaps can never be factored into whether the player had a true victory or not. In that instance, anyone who won less than the QM loses out, because they "could" have left the QM box 'til the end and then swapped it...

I think Noel's worst display of this was in Spiky Paul's game... when he dealt a rather poor 8-box offer of £9.5k, had a (slightly inflated, perhaps) 5-box proveout offer of £42k on a 3 blues / £35k / £250k final 5, then ended up with a final 2 of £100 and £250k with an offer that would've been £84k, and £100 in his box. Noel was all "if, if, if" and going on about how Paul could've been the first £250ker. Only a very select few would've been brave enough to have no dealt the fifth and final offers, and then swapped with the risk of effectively giving away £84k!
