Well judging by recent games he will have the "dream" finish on this board. :(

Haha ace!

He knew he wasn't gonna be a big winner from the start - it was just the timing that was slightly out!

Nice win, Slim! :D

I'm sure most of you enjoyed that, but that left me completely underwhelmed, but at least he beat the banker.

Which game?

You know, the "different" game.

The "crying game"?

Thank God we didn't.

It was a fun show today with Slim who was a great character, but I thought the 8-box deal was a tad weak for someone who was supposed to be a "brilliant board reader" and a gambler etc. It was a close call at 8-box, but I was hoping Slim would no deal. At least he didn't blow it "big time" though.

This week is quite good in terms of payout - the best for months - £111,000 so far and we've still got tomorrow's show. Interesting that the camera cut to Adam at the end when Noel was speaking about who he wouldn't mind kissing!

I assume he's referring to the "roof collapse" game.

I had high expectations for Slim but he turned out to be a bit of a let down. The unnecessarily emotional sob story got things off to a bad start and as soon his spirits visibly dropped once the big money had gone it was clear the banker wouldn't need to take him to seriously. And so it proved at 8-box.
"I am not coward, I am not chicken...Deal." - makes you look a tad foolish, perhaps!? "board reader"!? HA.

After what he said, he was pretty much trapped into a No Deal.

Except he Dealt.

The game deserved to peak at five-box after that - and it did! Still, at least he took a dealable offer, the first person to do so this month.

Four deserved player defeats on the bounce.

If he is, he is wrong, that is a different Adam (thats not a spoiler is it?)

Personally I liked Slim and enjoyed the game. OK, a bit of a sob story to begin, but it was all good after that.

Noels funny "you're not cold in here are you?" question to Chris gives you just a little taste the sort of unbroadcast banter that occurs in most shows.

I enjoyed today's game and I thought Slim was quite a character. There was some fun moments & banter and whilst I felt Slim should of gone on at least one more round it was never going to be a mega money game. So it didn't turn out to be too bad a deal in the end.

Pretty much concur with that, a great larger than life charecter, an unpredictable and highly entertaining game, and a Deal which i didn't see coming.

Thought personally he could have gone on one wore round, but I suppose it's easier to read the board when you don't have a vested interest in the outcome
