The banker says he'd have offered no more than £4,500 on the last board... Stoney says the offer would normally probably be £1,001 due to what Janie cost the banker in Maggie's game...

Janie says the offer should be £1,001 now...

Banker says DEAL

Banker's offer

£1,001

I'd also deal and it wasn't foolish to.

However she set herself her own trap offering herself so little. Interesting how her past set herself her own offer of £1,001 on that finish!

Well that was a different game, i enjoyed it but i wouldnt like it to be seen in the near future, it was a nice one-of game! The offers i thought she gave were fair and ive been noticing a lot recently that the banker does offer half the average on a lot of occasions so i was trying to think that way when making the offers.

Good game, quite entertaining, Well Done Jaine on £1,001! :-D

That was the most interesting game ever. I want more like this, say, once every new wing line-up? It helps us to see what they're thinking...

A great twist to what was otherwise a disappointing game.

I was thinking the five-box board was worth about £4k - reminded me of the very first five-box board! Except that was four blues, not three and £3k... but the £4,300 that was offered then might have been my offer (and I'd have taken it).

Slightly frustrating, but an interesting game, and we'll be back tomorrow!

That was certainly different. I'd have offered myself £1,002 at the last offer. I didn't get a buzz from that show but sexy scooter woman was quite entertaining. She sort of helped herself win a low amount :?

Enjoy the £1001, Janie! :D

Oh, and I loved the conflict between the players, Stoney, Janine, Deano, Diane and Steve. If you don't ask, you definitely don't get!

That was a very unusual game, and slightly bizarre that Janie should get to set her own offers, as she wasn't particularly a "stats" type of person. I'd have expected that sort of thing to be done with board readers (people like Harvey was supposed to be).

It turned what otherwise would've been a fairly dull game into a very interesting (if slightly odd) one though. She did seem to be setting the offers fairly low, but if she'd gone too high the banker would've just rejected them, which she was presumably scared of happening. I don't think this twist should happen too often, and I'd prefer it to be done with people who are genuine board readers (if they are any left).

Overall a fairly entertaining show with an interesting gameplay twist...

I thought the show was deadly dull to be honest. Janie was quiet on the wings and really gave us little entertainment value during the show. The only thing that salvaged it was the self-offers twist but even that was completely pointless really. It was apparent she had little clue about the board and by the seems of it neither did most of the wingers.

What was the point of making herself offers she wasn't going to deal? She might as well have gone over the top and got a chance to swap if the Banker said no. She wouldnt have lost anything and would have made it plain that she wasn't going to be fobbed off with a lousy deal. Instead of which a succession pointless low self-offers (which she didn't take) telegraphed to the Banker she could be bought cheap and lacked any sort of ambition or guts.

By the end of it I was beyond caring what she won and was grateful for the end so I could get my tea on.
