The other box - box 10 - Sheron - £750

Noel said it felt like a game where it was going so well, but all of a sudden it fell apart :( Si says he's sad it's all over now but everyone's been phenomenal :D Noel says on 1st May, the banker's at his most evil, and Noel says this month is the banker's birthday month :?

I think I'd deal here.

:ponder: I think I made a bit of a balls up on the forumla there

Very very unlucky game for someone who actually wanted to go for it.

NOW THAT'S A GAME I WANTED TO SEE! I holestly though with the thought and tension music, he was so going to deal for the £20k Dream Holiday, but wow... That guy deserves every penny, and I couldn't say that for many of last month's players...

That was MUCH better than last month's game, let's hope this continues, it's just a shame the game kind of fell apart after turning down the holiday (which would have seen me deal).

Si was a very nice bloke, but the banker was just on totally evil form today. I know it's his job to "crush everyone" and make them win as little as possible, but the show doesn't need this sort of banker behaviour right now!! Don't the producers realise that by having a mean banker during this period, it's going to make things worse?!

It was good to see Si play his board and go for it, although a deal for the Dream Holiday would've been totally understandable. Sod's law that yet again a brave no deal is followed by the round from hell. At least he managed to get out of it with a respectable £6,000 and didn't end up winning a blue!

Well done Si.

So that was an OPL, given that the Florida prize must have been worth more than £6,000. Once he'd turned that down, though, I felt it was worth going to the end for the chance of £15k...which he should have done.

What a happy start to show  with another sob-story of death, doom and gloom. Good god. Touching though it is I don't want to hear it. And the constant cutting throughout to the wife who had a face just made for misery only compounded it.

However by 11 box the board was looking quite strong and all was looking hopeful for an exciting finish and a big win. But after that the reds started to ebb away and when he turned down the dream holiday his boat had sunk. The 2 biggies going in one round was a cruel blow and from then on it was a one way trip to the end to get anything decent out of the game. With a minimum of £750 on the board at the final two stage I thought it was worth a punt at the £15k but I could see he was shell-shocked and would grab the £6k.

I don't begrudge him his deal. He took a risk and then dealt. Thats ok by me. Just typical that it all fell apart when we could have done with a big win. Pity too about the £15k being in his box but £6k is decent dosh and it was well deserved; and he seemed quite pleased with things so at least the finish was happier than the start.

Not an OPL, he was offered £950.

I didn't notice Si that much on the wings, and I thought Noel and the banker would go on and on about the question mark on the back of his head so I didn't bother watching...

Still, at least he didn't fall for the banker's tactics with the dream offer, and £6,000 is still a good sum of money...

Wasn't it an OBW rather than an OPL, because of the £950 fifth offer?

Sorry, yes, my mistake. I missed the 5th offer.

Which taxpayers are funding this?

Still, some forum-ites have been saying it's a waste of something for quite a while!

Well words fail me again.

Though don't get me wrong - he showed he wasn't going to get bullied by No Dealing the Dream Holiday, so I'll give him credit for that - it's just the all-familiar trainwreck that he got next and that is just completely unfair!

Hard lines Si - you gave it your best...loved the hair! :P

That's another day added towards the "Year since a mega win happened" statement...

Truely awful luck at 8-box :(

i thought the 14koffer was poor and then it just got worst, and the contestants seem quite plain at the moment too

On a lighter note it is great to see another familiar face on the wings now Ellie has joined :D

ARRGGHHH!

Something told me he wanted to deal at the dream holiday. (How much was it worth? £20,000?)

I just want a player that has fantastic timing. I think the last OPW was Emma, and she dealt at the 3rd round.

I don't have a preference if contestants deal/ no deal, but I do have my own opinion of what I'd do there.

Nevertheless, enjoy the money Si.

Si, unlucky end to the game, but I'm sure you can treat the kids with 6k.

Aitch,
