Peter's game today.

An Age Concern "Plan for your funeral" advert narrated by (what sounded like) Michael Aspel just before the show... charming :shock:

Everyone is wearing a bandaged thumb and does a thumbs up to Noel as he introduces the show

Noel says that this is a different week and we're feeling good thanks to Kay's game, as although she only won £10 she was such a fan of DOND, and she won a new TV from the banker

Noel says the banker does have a heart...

Noel says DOND's so inclusive - we've had 2 blind players, a deaf player and now a player with 2 heads - referring to twins Zara and Zoe, who giggle...

Before we start:

Noel says there is a story behind Peter's appearance here. When he applied for DOND, he was in hospital due to a motorbike accident. He'd been told he'd never walk again. 3 and a half months later, with the aid of crutches, he walked out of the hospital. Peter has asked to take the walk of wealth with NO crutches... he's never walked unaided in public without crutches since the accident...

Peter takes the walk of wealth with no crutches and is met by applause from everyone

Peter has box 22.

Peter said if he could feel his knees, they'd be knocking together! He says he's had belief... and there comes a stage when medically there's nothing more that can be done, but if you dig deep, you can do it - he says his mother was his biggest inspiration. His sister died in 1998, his father died in 2003, and his mother now has cancer... and her motto is "Get on with it" which he says is now his motto...

His girlfriend Rachel is in the audience. Noel says most women watching will be deeply in love with Peter and Rachel says they can have him as he's a complete nightmare

He shows some pics of his family - his daughter, and also a pic of him on a motorbike... and he says he will return to motorbiking, despite his accident

Noel says when the 1p is opened, will Peter be running over to kiss the player! He says he'll be bringing Rachel down early on in the game and she can give out the kisses :lol:

Peter has an initial system which will depend on how the game goes, and he will be using the same system that he uses when he occasionally bets on horses...

Peter says he's starting straight away with his lovely neighbour Emma

Peter says the horses are working so far! His daughter picked number 7...

Peter says he's been dreading this as he believes in the curse of the newbie

Peter says he's pleased with that, he didn't want £50k anyway

Noel thanks the banker for giving Kay the television yesterday, but the banker says he did that because he was unwell yesterday

The banker says it was a privelege to see Peter walk like that... and Noel says the banker was probably the only one hoping Peter would trip up :shock:

20 - Diddy - Noel says Stuart is the only person ever who's taken out £250k, £100k and £75k in consecutive boxes, and he calls a break

Peter says he has a good board as he still has £75k with many backups. Noel asks if money is an issue if Peter's been unable to work due to medical problems, and Peter says money has been an issue, and any money he wins will be useful - he says they're going to plan around whatever he wins, and Noel says he likes that...

The banker likes the game more since Rachel came down
