New suggestion for the show: Unplug the phone after the offer has been made.

Lexis says she thinks 8 has £75k, and she thought yesterday 8 had £250k and it did

Simmo says it's now a one-box game as the offer isn't likely to up... Troy asks if it's worth the gamble just for a little bit more...

Lexis DEALS

Note the camera stayed on Lexis' face when the box was opened :?

That is the classic Deal or No Deal "contestant reaction shot". I wonder if the editing team will consider a 24 esque split screen for future shows? One camera on the box, the other camera on the contestant.

It's a no deal at £11,000 surely?

No way she's dealt  Not the worst deal ever but it would have been nice to see a ND there..

Think I'd have carried on but given the way the game has gone I can see why she'd want to get out with a five figure sum.

Two-box game at five-box, 30% chance of disaster, reasonably generous offer. I'd have done the same, good play if you ask me.

Loving the split-screen suggestion from Travis, there.

Of course she would know as she was the one that had it.

Noel opens her box and it has 50p

Troy opens box 8 to reveal £10

Noel makes a joke about how Lexis' £75k prediction was wrong :P

Lexis says £11,500 will make a great difference for her...

Don't blame her for dealing there, I can see why someone might ND but we've been spared another big crash by the sounds of it - and that's a relief!

What a dick of a banker, getting the contestants to make her deal

The point of the banker is to save as much money as possible though... and making her deal for an amount considerably lower than the top amount is insurance for the banker that he won't be making a big payout...

Haha, interesting idea. It'd be the height of "cheese" though and would only really be suitable on a Dead Ringers DOND sketch.

I thought it was a much better show today, even though I hadn't noticed Lexis that much on the wings. It's good to see some of the other contestants getting more involved and giving advice - such as newbie Dave, Reverend David, Troy, Greg, Simmo, Olga and others.

Some funny moments today with Eunice and I also found it rather intriguing when Lexis sneaked over to speak to Olga whilst Noel was on the phone to the banker about newbie Dave. Not a huge payout today, but at least we didn't have a blue win!!!

After yesterday's melodrama todays affair was rather pedestrian. Lexis didn't appear to be the gambling sort but the game meandered on and we found ourselves at 5 box albeit after a major dither at 8 box. After a flood of tears (god knows what for) I thought that by then she'd have had enough and so it proved. £11,500 was grabbed and not a moment too soon as the proveout showed.

Lexis whispering to Olga was the highlight of today's show for me.

After yesterday's unfortunate game, this was a nice refresher course in how to get an OPW. Very nicely played by Lexis. I probably would have played it the exact same way.

A better feeling show today. Nice to see a decent player win.

Well done Lexis.
