Noel welcomes us to another day in the Dream Factory and says that last week was probably the most momentous week in the shows history as 3 people squandered the chance to win £250,000!

He then talks about Margaret's 1p win yesterday

Joy has box 17 today. Joy says her surname was originally Corleonni, but shortened it to Leonni when she left Italy, then tells Noel that was joke and it's nothing to do with the mafia

... Joy tells Noel that she would like to meet a gentleman who is rich and impotent! Then asks Noel if he knows anyone

Joy says she would like to win enough money to pay off her mortgage as she soon might be evicted! She says if she doesn't win enough she might have to move in with Noel

Joy shows Noel her life ring, and tells him a story about how much it means to her....

They ruined the effect by not getting the box openers to lean as well.

Still the value could have just easily been £20,000, the time for the gambling and the tension was still there.

Wow that's an abysmal offer. The £20,000 going but 2 other low values going leaving the £100,000 and £250,000 there should have the offer go up more than £900.
