How evil is that says Noel, he was convinced he would offer £8,000 there...

Matt asks if box 3 means anything to her, and she says it doesn't but box 11 does...

Margaret says

NO DEAL

WOW says Noel, this is another emotional game...

The banker calls back and offers the SWAP

Margaret says she thinks she would end up swapping away the £20,000...

Margaret says

NO SWAP

Ugh. I feel sick. :(

That was just awful. Now we know why more people don't take risks as they don't want a trainwreck.

It's horrible. I feel really sorry for Margaret. She actually decided to go for it, but ended up in the penny club.

Maybe the pilgrims are trying to give Margaret a bit of support!

That was the reason why I applauded from my vantage point in the third row of that game. Margaret had started the game in such a jolly, bouncy mood and at that time she'd become visibly deflated.

You'd take on 150 people by yourself? Good luck!

Oh that was horrible!

You could see a 1p win coming a mile off though - still, in the words of Basicasic: I'd rather have won an honest 1p than a cowardly £3,000.

Because I wouldn't have taken that £3,000 offer - he had stones offering it!

I'd rather she won £3,000 than 1p though.

Totally agreed Cookie - but if you were in the chair, you'd have declined it too - there was just a feeling of wanting to make the Banker feel sick!

A pretty ugly game, in honesty; I suspect the only people who wouldn't have wound up in the 1p club there were cowards and swappers...

Margaret was a nice lady and it was a nice, feel-good show, but unfortunately the luck was just never there. :( I found it quite amusing Channel 4 showed a trailer for a documentary about call centres during the ad break in this show, bearing in mind Margaret worked for BT and Noel made a joke about keeping her waiting to play her game for 3 hours. :P

Hopefully this month won't turn into another month of 1p members...
