Sandra 18/12 - Scrooge vs Santa

Sandra's game today.

Noel welcomes us to the second of the Scrooge vs Santa Christmas specials. As with yesterday, all the contestants, Noel and the audience are dressed up suitably, and there are Christmas visual effects and sound effects. The show is introduced with a classical version of "Jingle Bells".

Noel gives a quick rundown of the rules - As with yesterday: If the player gets to 5-box, they choose a door on the advent calendar. If they reveal Santa, they get to pick a box from the Christmas turkey and they get a monetary gift. They also then get an offer after each box. If they choose Scrooge, then the banker will be able to look in 2 boxes on the wings or the contestant's own box and they won't get an offer after each box...

Door number 4 on the advent calendar is already open, as Louise chose that yesterday, and that had SCROOGE in it...

Sandra takes the Walk of Wealth as "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" plays. She has box 15. Glen carries her box to the table and Noel tells him to clear off

Sandra is from Yeovil in Somerset. She is an office clerk. She has 4 voluntary jobs - including working for a church and she does dog sitting and walking for a friend. She has Wendy with her in the audience. Wendy says she won't be much good calming Sandra down as she's nervous too

Sandra said she's never had money to squander, and she believes life is the biggest risk. She says she'll take each box as it comes, and whatever will be will be... Sandra says she'll start singing in a minute.

She shows some pics of her friends in her local church. She doesn't have a system for the game, but she'd like to know what her first five boxes were, but she hasn't checked who has them yet :-D

Noel asks what Brian had yesterday - he says he had 1p, Noel says no... he says £100k... Noel says no... he says he's lost :-D

Noel tells him it was £1,000 and asks him to follow as it's not much to remember your value from yesterday :-D

Noel says Brian has a brain the size of a pea :shock:

Sandra says "Ooh" and the audience murmur... Noel shouts at Brian "LOOK AT IT! You're not gonna forget that!!" :-D

Noel says Merry Christmas to the banker, but the banker says "Bah humbug" cos he's miserable after Louise beat him yesterday with the mind games... The banker is disappointed. Noel says hopefully Sandra will get to 5-box and pull out Santa.
