Still a lucky proveout showed it to be the correct decision and a good day for dealers. You can't argue with that.

Make up your mind. It depends on what else is on the board. £250/£50K and 3 low amounts is a lot different from a £250K/£50K board with a back up of say £20K.

Well done Steff on spanking the Banker and taking him for £25,000, at least you will have spending money after paying your £10,000 loan :)

*riotous applause*

That, for me, was the 30% chance of disaster against it being under half the mean in a game that wasn't a one-box game. I suspect on current final offer trends for high-volatility finishes (60% chance of that at the time) I'd have dealt.

I CRINGED when the bf came down I knew a deal was inevitable then its ridiculus 25K was pathetically low The banker does not need to even bother these days as he knows everyone will deal for low offers sigh.

Steff was nice girl but very lucky in the prove out enjoy the 25K anyway :) even though you should have been offered more.

guys to be honest I made a fatal error by expecting 26k, and I was myself a little shocked by 25k, even Noel was and said "Steff, you know how to get more money... deal or no deal?"

But then Mikeys game was very similar to mine and so I expected it

Steff should have got 30 for sure, see although i'm a gambler and not so much a dealer, this deal I was not cringing at totally because she wanted to deal(although i'd no deal since two higher and was low offer) it was because as in alot of cases recent people have dealt for derisory money for the board and the banker keeps getting away with it so easy.

Yer Steph was Lucky and it was the right thing to do in her game but a majority of the time it usually goes horribly wrong when someone takes a low deal for the board.

Someone needs to step up not take it and go for it like Mary did she was just unlucky the big money was not there.

PS Stephs game is on again now on more4 =).

I am watching it!!

To be honest, playing the game the way it went and having "the perfect game" OPW etc, was more important than the money, believe it or not!

That's what I think as well. I always say to myself, that if I were to get on in a few years, it would be for the experience, and I'd just play the game as it comes.

Steff, congratulations on your win, it was a great game. I think it was one of the most emotional games I have watched so far. Good on you, I hope you enjoy yourself with your win.

OH MY GOD. Was that with a strong implication that 'how to get more money' was to No Deal?

That's frightening if it is, and makes me even more ecstatic for you.

I was thinking 26K too... then I thought, "Naaah, far too low, 30K at least!"

 when the offer came through.

:D :-D when you proved everyone wrong & beat the Banker!

And, yeah, love those shows where the player goes for the perfect game, whatever amount they win!

KP - I think that even Noel thought the offer was low when he said that to me! He thought that if he asked me the question quickly I would be dismissing the banker etc and he would ring back, but I was really taken aback by that comment from Noel and i was kinda like "hold on I am not ready yet!!"

Looking at Steve's and Mikey's games, the offer was fair. The extra grand would have been nice thou ;) hehe. naaaah the fact i kicked his arse was even better!

And the fact you kicked Noel's arse by dealing when he clearly wanted you to play on is EVEN better!! ;)
